The word is out on the street. We played well in a lost against Baylor in Dallas. We played below our average against Utah State at home and escaped with a win. Both teams used zone. Utah State really moved their feet well instead of slapping at the ball.<div>
</div><div>Our weakness is half court offense and our strength is transition fast break offense. Utah State had players back after every shot they took.</div><div>
</div><div>Keep in mind that arguably our most consistent player is a true freshman.</div><div>
</div><div>Ugly win today but I expect we will see Utah State in the top 30 this year and also in the tourney again.</div><div>
</div><div>Bost played worse than normal but won the game on a charge called on their best shooter late in the game, who fouled out and would have taken the last shot and maybe would have made it. Bost got the final 2 go ahead points on a pump fake at the free throw line, fouling out 0 for Utah State. Then Bost makes two free throws. Smart plays, plays like that is what will win games for us this year.</div>

Utah State used zone and man and played both very well. They double down a lot vs Sidney who handled it extremely well. Dee seemed to be trying too hard and got really flustered early in the game, collecting a technical foul. Honestly I thought the game was about to get away from us late until Sidney re-entered. In my opinion he was the difference down the stretch. I thought we might have fouled on the last shot. We definitely were in their face with D.</p>
