I'm guessing

when he was having command issues and not locating. Renfroe comes up, after a visit already by the coach to the mound, w the bases juiced and hits into a DP.

That has been par for the course for the year but we haven't had too many

opportunities today. That's 5 (1,2,3) innings for Mayers. I don't like the way this series is starting off. You know we aren't going to hit Wahl tomorrow.

I see now that we had a player hit by a pitch. Was looking at the box score and wasn't seeing enough baserunners.

When you only have two hits....

those failures to advance runners who were walked or hit by pitch stand out, but you can't say that you should have scored in that situation. Its not like the situation where you are getting lots of hits and peppering the bases with runners all day and not getting them across.

When you have a 1st round mlb guy up with bases loaded and 1 out, you should score.

You say this **** every game. We had two hits all day. You can't say it's just a problem with "situational hitting" when nobody gets a hit.
