Heck of a storm north of Starkville a while ago. Blasted Clay and Monroe county. The delay was probably lightning related.

This is why I always say we accel at Broadcast Meteorology, not Meteorology!! 3/4 TV weather personalities have their certificate from dear ol’ State. But ain’t a damn one of ‘em can give an accurate forecast.

It must be warming to the heart to know you can leave home and go to work and be totally wrong at your job, cause many thousands of people to totally change plans that may cause them major dollars and still be greeted warmly at work the next day
