Weather Men, how bad is it going to get tomorrow?

I'm here. We are going to just miss a major tornado outbreak tomorrow. We're just not going to have enough moisture return. Everything else is pegging off the charts. Now we will still probably see some tornadoes and damaging winds, but not like what we could have. Biggest tornado threat will be south of I-20 and probably south of Highway 84. Good news is it should be out of the state not long after dark so no 3:00am tornadoes ripping through neighborhoods.
Our chase team got its 10th Skycam active this past weekend when we put a camera up in Aberdeen. If the weather is cooperative at all this coming up weekend we're scheduled to add Grenada to the list.

Thanks, Hugh. For those of you on fb, their page is a great follow if you don’t follow already.

It is pointing toward being a busy day in South Mississippi. That said, the last model I looked at had an interesting line in the middle of the state stretching down from Tennessee through the northern 2/3 of Mississippi. I would keep my ears open if I were you guys.

Central and south MS should have the best chance at significant severe weather due to having more unstable air. Regardless of where you live, if your dew point starts creeping up around 65 before the storms then you need to really pay attention to things. NWS and others have admitted they really don't know how far north the unstable air will reach. The best bet now is it stays south of 82.

The wind is picking up here in Picayune. Canal St. is like a wind tunnel. It'll probably get worse as the storm gets closer.

I'll say this much, the wind here north of Jackson is about as strong as I can remember short of the middle of a thunderstorm or in advance of a hurricane.
It is really blowing.

At 1:00 pm Jacktown metro still too cool and dry for bad stuff, but I reckon that could change quickly.

Everyone OK? We got the tornado warnings in NC this morning. As far as I know, though, no tornadoes formed.

Not high enough dewpoints to make a lot of storms. There was a ton of wind from Texas over to North Carolina.

I heard a television report that said 2 or 3 were killed in Madison, MS. Is that correct? No mention here that I know of.

I know one of the Madison County deaths was from a guy coming in contact with a live electrical line that was down.

The other was a tree falling on a car on the Trace up around highway 43. From what I understand, it killed the driver and injured the passenger.
