If I had turf I'd play Friday. Grass either Wednesday or Saturday.

How much rain they call up in your area. I seen some say possibly 10 inches of rain in western parts of N.C. That’s lot of rain.

Yeah, I’ve heard anywhere from 7-10 inches of rain, also calling for high winds on Friday. I keep thinking about the storm that wiped out Pisgah’s field a few years ago, hope it doesn’t flood like that again for their sake.

Max Preps is showing Hickory vs North Lincoln on 9/30. Different from the post above where it’s on Saturday at 5pm. So I’m not sure which is right

Your first mistake was looking at the weather channel lol. I could check with the local channel. The local channels around Charlotte is saying the sun will be out around 2 o’clock on Friday.

The game I was talking about though is in Asheville, ACR @ Enka, and the local weather up there says heavy rain and high winds.

Local weather in Asheville says heavy rain gone by noon. Maybe some scattered showers lingering. Maybe some wind. Why are moving games for rain anyway. Most of the teams these day play on carpet anyway

Glad to hear weather is looking better, I think they move games because of $$. Most schools budget depends heavily on the money football brings in.

It may look better on Friday but there is a good chance for flooding and power outages. We are now playing today at 6.

A lot of schools in the far west have closed for the next two days. Emergency Management folks like to reduce the number of things they have to worry about when there is up to 10-12" of rain predicted for your area, so I don't see any of these games getting played until next week. After that much rain there could be severe flooding to deal with for a couple days.
