Interesting match-up. LSU can't pass. But State defense can't defend the pass very well. Anthony Jennings is only completing 51.9 % of his passes against inferior competition, except for Wisconsin. He can run some. He has a total of 104 yards on the ground in 24 attempts.

LSU can run. But State can defend the run. State will stack the box and dare LSU to pass. Anthony Jennings will throw at least 2 picks.


Dak can pass. Dak has completed 59.7% albeit against bad competition. Dak can run. He has a total of 298 yards on the ground in 40 attempts.
In the end, a good QB wins over a bad one. Dak is much better than the Wisconsin QB who almost beat LSU. Even though State's O.line is average at best and Dak will not have a lot of time to pass, Dak is most dangerous when he runs after scrambling. Dak wins it with his feet. Dak will have over 4 carries of 15 yards or more. Dak scores 3 TDs and gains over a 100 yards. He will only have about 200 yards passing. But he has only 1 int.

All bets are off if Dak does not play the entire game.
