UGA beats Boise St in close one- I've been saying for weeks Boise would win but I've flipped. They've lost a lot of playmakers. UGA is still going to suck, but will pull this one out.

BYU beats Ole Miss by 14+. BYU is well coached. Ole Miss is going to struggle win they put 8 or 9 in the box, and their defense is inexperienced- they'll be out of position a lot and BYU's QB is going to have a field day.

LSU beats Oregon- as usual the Tigers will find a way.

USF beats Notre Dame
Baylor will give TCU all they want

Is their any other games to care about?

I dont see that happening sorry. Georgia by 10

BYU by 3 over the Bears, I see this as a close one that OM can win, BYU is to small.

ND by 17 over USF Brian Kelly will win that one.

I have no idea of the Oregon LSU game, I can see Oregon coming out and blowing away LSU and vice versa.

<div>i personally think BYU is the most underrated team in the country. learn the names jakes heaps and ross apo. i guess they could lose to ole miss, but it sure won't be because they are too small. to go along with the OL and front 7 listed below, the outside WRs are 6'3" and 6'4", 1 CB is 6', and both safeties are 6'2". if BYU is too small to hang with the sec bottom feeder, we might as well fold up shop on the season cause we are too small too.</div><div>

Georgia over Boise ....easily, I think their mindset just can't get past playing a consistent SEC competitor
TSUN over BYU .... in a struggle ... for the same reason
LSU over Oregon ... by 10 points or less
ND over South FL..... because of what is anyones guess
TCU takes Baylor ... easily

Boise over UGA big. I don't know where you're getting this "Boise lost a lot" from, because they've got a hell of a lot coming back. I don't see UGA winning more than 7 games this fall, and this won't be one of them.

BYU over UM. Oregon in a shaky nod over LSU. I could flip on this one before gametime though.

LSU will find a way to win, and much to my chagrin so will Notre Dame. UGA wins an entertaining game over Boise. Ole Miss loses a heartbreaker to BYU. Everyone else in the SEC wins their opener.

In my book, that's a lot of offense. They do return Martin (1200 yds) but other than that, they have to find some big time playmakers. Their WRs is a big question mark.</p>

Boise has 2 preseaon first place votes from the AP...they have a better team, a better program and are better coached than Georgia.

LSUs defense could win the game for them. Jordan's absence could also be a huge plus for LSU. I am picking LSU but I wouldn't put any money on either team.

I think BYU beats Ole Miss in a close game. Mackey being suspended hurts the Rebels chances badly because it limits the number of plays you are willing to let the quarterback make plays with his feet due to a lack of depth. Being immobile at the QB position will limit the Rebs playbook in the wild rebel and other option sweeps.

Boise lost high draft picks at WR, but it always seems these smaller schools have no trouble replacing the lost yardage. Think back to those UCF teams led by Culpepper that gave both us and Ole Miss fits. They had WR that could catch anything Culpepper threw. Kellen Moore returns for his 12th season so Boise has the QB play, I just dont think they have trouble finding guys that will catch it.<div>
</div><div>I think it's a shootout and a toss-up.</div>

plus most of their OL to go with Martin. Oh yeah, and most of their very good defense too. Compare that to UGA which lost all their RBs, all their OL, and AJ Green and whose defense sucked last year. Aaron Murray can't do it all by himself, but he's pretty much going to have to. UGA will be looking for a new coach come November.</p>

BYU over ole miss
An experienced offense vs a Tyrone Nix defense. The ole miss offense could (but won't) put up 35 and still lose.
The current ole miss program reminds me a lot of the "put a knot on my head" portion of the Sherrill era.

Boise St over uga
Isn't this the same UGA team that couldn't score in the liberty bowl? Although how with less of an offensive line and a great receiver?
I don't buy the uga hype at all until they beat someone.

LSU over Oregon
I still don't believe that Les Miles is a good coach, but damn it if he doesn't win. see Lsu v Bama last year. He lets his athletes play on
defense, and then runs runs runs.

And last, but not least... with the new taunting rule.. I'll set the over/under on TDs called back at 1.5 for the weekend.
I'm taking the over.

I think Oregon beats LSU. Miles has done well against every team he has had time to prepare for, but I just don't see them winning this game. Their offense will suck, again.

I think Ole Miss beats BYU in close one. I will probably regret this pick, but I have never respected BYU, and I don't see them beating an SEC team at home. For all of the problems Ole Miss has, they should still be more athletic and physical than BYU. 17 Mormons.

but this game he can very much win-

1. More talented players (speed)
2. Control with run game
3. Their defense should be better with second year in system
4. Some kind of special team play will determine winner

Like I said I've flipped back and forth. Ilove Boise's style. They are they most fundemental sound team in the country. However, as the game gets closerI think UGA is gonna pull it off. Richt is coaching for his job.

4. Boise is facing an SEC defense (even if it is a mediocre one)
5. Boise lost their OC and 2 top WR

However, I realize Peterson is a top 5 coach and Moore is a great QB. We'll see if they can muster up another big win.

Control with run game
Yeah, that's going to work real well with UGA having no RBs and losing their entire OL. But at least BSU returns most of it's very good defense from last year.

Some kind of special team play will determine winner
In that case, I'm going with BSU.

Look, I agree that the SEC is the best conference in the country and none of the others are even real close right now. But this is a matchup between a legitimate top 10 team and a very mediocre SEC team. We're really got bad matchups in both this game and the UM-BYU game, just like when Crxxm's teams tried to play the likes of GA Tech and West Virginia and Jackie's last two teams played Oregon.

somebody this season is going to get seriously screwed when an official overreacts and calls a TD back for taunting when it isn't warranted.

4. Best returning receiver is a TE who had 2 td's last year.
5. Richt's career is most definitely on the downhill.

The temperature there the last week has been in the 90's with humidity in the 60's, also Provo sits at 4500ft msl. The Bears are acting like BYU is in Nome Alaska.

1.BYU handily over TSUN .
2.LSU squeaks by Oregon.
3.Boise dismantles Georgia.
4.MSU easily over Memphis.....don't think we cover due to Mullen calling the dogs off early in order to protect the starters.

yeah, uga didn't lose aj green. or every RB on the roster except the true frosh (not really but it definitely seems that way). or several OL to injuries and suspensions. nope, uga is returning all their key player (murray) from a 6-7 team. <div>
</div><div>it may be hard to admit, but i have much more faith in boise weathering the storm of losing their 2 WRs than i do of uga weathering the storm of the players they lost from a mediocre team to begin with since peterson is the true brains behind the offense anyway.</div>

do you agree or disagree that 2009 oregon and 2010 VT were better running teams than 2011 UGA will be with 1 good but true frosh RB and a questionable OL?<div>
</div><div>if you think 09 oregon and 10 VT were better running teams than 11 UGA, then you shouldn't be predicting UGA to be able to control **** with the running game, cause boise held 09 oregon to 31 yards rushing and VT to next to nothing last year (my internet is being a problem pulling up the box score right now). oh and boisereturnsall but 1 starter from the front 7 on D.

but their defensewill be significantlybetter. On the other hand, Boise will probably drop in offense and defense, especially early on in the season.
