If North comes out strong this one could get ugly quick. Looks like they had a case of nerves to start the Ashe game with, but they settled down in the second half and their defense shut down Ashe in the second half. was impressed by their quarterback play.

North Surry will be all over Elkin. Elkin is not a good team and will be lucky to be .500 this season.

Haven't heard much out of Elkin's people at all. They have been MIA this year so literally have no clue what to expect from the besides what it said in the preps book and what clips I found on Hudl.

If we show up and have our minds and emotions in check I believe we should do really well. We need to get the kinks out before the next two weeks. Hoping for another killer performance from the D, they are fun to watch.

Slash killer, just curious, how meant total passes was thrown last week by each team. Also, do you have number of completions by each team?

Yeah SN, we threw 47 times and completed 24 of them for 310 yards and 2 TD's against 2 Picks. We ran for 93 more and got 403 total yards of O. Not bad for an opener we got some work to do but all of the teams do right now.

Ashe had a stats guy there but I never got wind of their stats so I have no clue fully what they got. The Ashe newspaper said the all state kid had 168 yards catching on catches and they had 287 yards of O with most in the first half.

I remember when Elkin could give 3A guys a heck of a game. Elkin has been average for a number of years now.

Had to have been close to 100 between the 2 teams.
