Week 2 Grimsley @ West Forsyth “Thoughts”

West Forsyth will play host to #1 Grimsley in Clemmons and I believe this could be much closer than the SIMMONS spread… that will be released out later this week. West Forsyth has a great defense, 3 very good RB’s who run behind a D-1 Offensive Line….some super fast WR’s. This Sophmore transfer WR #14 Tylan Grimes from Southwest Guilford is 6’4 190…he’s just ridiculous talented and they kinda hid him against Davie but you could see the crazy speed and talent. West has between 5 and 8 D-1 talented players. The QB transfer will be vital in this game…. He’s settling in nice but will have to step up and avoid turnovers and complete more passes. If they get behind they will need him to throw and he’s going to be in the fire.

For West to win, they need to start well…don’t get behind early.

Whirlies haven’t travelled to Clemmons in a while. Coaches Brown and Wallace have familiarity from the NW Guilford tenure. Grimsley was tested Friday night against West Charlotte, while WF cruised 42-6 over Davie, who usually have a prolific offense. Can the Titan D contain the Brandon Bunch?

How good is WF this year? I feel like I hear the same old story from them every year and they disappoint year in and year out.

I find it pretty difficult to believe that they'll beat Grimsley.

They have good talent and I think with the Addition of Mozes Morris (Former LN RB) - It gives them another weapon. He maybe a little undersize but His swiftness and such is elite, one of the hardest guy to tackle. I think they had a easy game week 1 vs Davie so this will be the REAL Test to see if WF is for real or not. If they lose n its only like say 7-14 type pt difference then thats a win in my book BC GRIMSLEY is like a small D2 college with some of those linemen

I think the spread will be 20+ especially since, they made a great West Charlotte team a 16.5 underdog last week to Grimsley. We will see later today. I've followed Simmons for 20 years or more, his computer generated system takes about 3 or 4 weeks to really dial in predictions...
