I noticed in the first post that Joey Powell and Sean Moran werent on staff. Any scoop on that?

I cannot create a user name. The moment I type a letter any letter or number, I get 'Username is not available.' So I hit submit without putting anything in my user name. That was the only way to make it work. My user name from 247 was CHBORNBRED. Please help me change my user name to that.
It seems to do that until you type in a full name. If the full name is taken, use another. One should stick eventually.
When I type the 1st letter, that message comes up. Does not matter what letter or number. If someone actually took my user name, they stole it. No one thought of that, especially on day one.

Well, when you see that name pop up here it will confirm the theft, though you still won't know which person from the old board heisted it.
I agree. But I cannot create any user name. Like I said, the moment I type the 1st letter or number, any letter or number, it immediately says not available. In other words, if I wanted username AE!!##@$83y43, I could not get it. I will try again but if unsuccessful, I will delete this account and just stay on IC. I have had that username for almost 30 years.

I can't change names directly, but on3 staff have been very quick to help with this when you email [email protected] . Just give them your current user name and then ask them to change it to CHBORNBRED. There is chbornbred in the system right now, most likely an import from the old rivals site, that registered in 2024 and never posted. They will likely have no problem disabling that account and giving you the name.
I was led here by Lucky’s post on the vintage forum. It’s not the same but neither is anything in college basketball these days. It would be nice if Ben could get the staff to migrate all of our content to the new look IC.
Andrew Jones posted something over there about IC’s YouTube stuff being available at 247, which would seem to confirm they own the content.
A surprising number of people seem to believe they’re being asked to make Sophie’s Choice. You can read and post on both boards. There are now two UNC boards instead of one.
Yeah. it's interesting over there in red universe. a lot of old stuff from IC boards sTILL accessible. Our old IDs still there. i log onto both
I thought he was referring to the forum content, which still exists on the 247 servers and is still active. The YouTube stuff, to my knowledge, doesn't actually reside on 247's servers. Only provided links to that content exists at 247.
I have not signed up for premium here yet. Still have my sub on 247. Trying to decide where to stay. The back and forth with posters is most important to me. I do not really care who brakes news 5 min before the other. I prefer the back and forth. It will be interesting to see who takes the market share from the old IC, as I will likely go with that group.

The free boards are indeed free. This includes everything except Tar Pit Premium and UNC Basketball premium
