Both my dad and grandpa went to school there. When French Camp bought it we had thought it was saved and my grandpa fought fervently to save it, but it was a burden for French Camp and they had to make a business decision.

My grandfather went to school there as well.

Random. I happened to be in that church right when the church was having the severed hand re-gold-leafed. That thing is huge when viewed at ground level. Also, there are hundreds of slender needle-like spikes mounted on the top surfaces of the monument to prevent the birds from pre-$hi++ing on it.
