This seems pretty obvious to me. Many on here say we could never do better than Stansbury, but they don't realize that Stansbury is the one that created our current situation. Now, after almost 15 years as our head coach, we will be no better off with our next hire than when we hired Stansbury.
If he was so damn good here, why aren'thead coacheslike Prohm, Bryce Drew, or Gregg Marshall leaving mid major college programsto come to one of the Top 4 programs in the SEC for a gigantic pay raise and more money at their disposal? Too much baggage andplayers jumping ship during Stans tenureis killing our image, and Stansbury has to be held largely responsible for that. We can say Stansbury helped us become a top tier SEC team, but in the grand scheme of things, how much does that really mean when we can't even find a decentmid major head coachto come take his spot?
