I'm calling shenanigans. You are quite possibly the biggest critic of that site; but now you are paranoid? If that were the case you wouldn't have specifically called several of them out previously in this thread.
Not to mention RebelBruiser wishing Rob Elliot tore up his knee. This is the thing though, I'm not mad at any of those guys. I actually defended RebelBruiser over there the other day. I could care less about what those guys posts.
Think about what so many of the Rebel posters in this thread do. They wake up with a belief that some MSU boards are crazy. They then read these boards daily combing through post after post to find that 1 really nuts one to reaffirm that they are right about a board being crazy. That is the definition of crazy.
I just don't have the energy for that. I certainly don't have the energy to hold out some deep-seeded hatred for some other message board that I can post about every chance I get. (Cue up: "We really don't care at all, we are just look for entertainment).

It's a ******* MSU message board, some would argue its meant to be bias. I'd venture a guess that the majority of people who post or lurk on ED do so because they wish NOT to hold a civil conversation or a conversation at all... at the very least with whom most consider a bitter in state rival. There are times when its nice to discuss MSU things with MSU people and not have everyone under the sun running to defend UM if a negative comment is passed their way. Especially when some of the people doing the defending are suppose to be on "your side".
Bottom line, sometimes its fun to have the narrowed view of all things MSU and enjoy topics withoutthe damper of objection. Sometimes other views and opinions are welcomed or needed. Its personal preference.
To say this is a true sports site is a little nuts. For example this thread has nothing to do with sports and very little to do with MSU. I hardly come here anymore because so many threads have nothing to do with MSU sports. A little more MSU sports and this site could become relevant once more. I know the criticism coming because I made a similar post some time ago. But check the board. Seems many would rather put down ED (I suppose because of C 34) than discuss sports.
is that why one of the elitest has been missing in action for a while? I don't read that board but I've seen people mention he's gone. His attendance calculator was funny for a while until he went crazy.

One of the funniest things is when you and Stephen get called bear apologists. Their words not mine. Yet time after time, the highest profile posters on ED, when posting here before the Great Schism, would make remarks about the announcers doing our football home games. So the apologists are at the game, I'm assuming scouting for Freeze, while the "real fans" are sitting on their *** at home, like me I'll admit. I'm not going to a ton of games living in Florida but I'm still in the upper 6,000's in points because I like donating to the team that will ultimately make me angry as a closet bear.

Yea Yanks aren't the favorites for the WS but with minimal done by the Blue Jays and Orioles it's left the door open for the Yankees to make the playoffs one last time for Jeter. Once you get in anything can happen. I wouldn't be surprised if the Angels win the West and the A's end up losing the one game wildcard series with Lester getting shelled. Haha
