Those aren't throwbacks. Throwbacks are something you used to wear. Those are throw outs.

They're ugly as homemade sin but as long as we are dog piling between the pitcher's mound and first base after the game is over I can live with it. I may be blind after staring at something that hideous for three hours, though.

Is it a contractual matter? Why cant we tell Adidas to 17 off? You dont see LSU ever change their uni's. Damn this is embarassing.

Indiana and UCLA aren't wearing them, so I would imagine it was up to the school. I'm sure there was some kind of incentive for each school who chooses to accept them though. After all, Adidas is advertising the 17 out of them and CLIMALITE. Perhaps some kind of "we'll cut you a deal on soccer/softball/track stuff". I think we have to pay out of pocket for those.

If I had to bet, I'd bet that we are wearing those jerseys for BP, and the pinstripes are a hint as to what we'll wear for the game.

Plus I had a little inside info earlier- hope it proves to be correct...
