Well it is put up or shut for Dwight Howard now.

With Kobe out, this is his time to show if he is a franchise player. I am thinking no.

Damn shame to see Kobe go out like this. I have not seen a pro player bust his *** like Kobe has this last month in a long time.

I don't like Kobe, but really hate this happened to him.

He's been incredible lately, putting the team on his back. The Lakers will fold like a cheap suit with him gone.

I don't care for Kobe either but after having Achilles reconstruction last year

I would not wish that injury on anyone.

I've never liked Kobe either, but

I absolutely respect what he has done this season. I read an article that said between all the postseason games and US Olympic games he has the equivalent of 20.5 seasons played. I hope he comes back from this and plays just as hard next year.

Unfortunately

the guy is a major headcase. He has the physical tools, but not the mental. This makes him pretty much useless.

I presume you are talking about Howard. I never realized what a whackjob he was until he came to L.A. Personally if I was the Lakers I would not tie my future up with Howard. The Lakers are almost at a point where they are going to have to tear it down and start over or start tryng to lure Lebron or Durant away from their teams.

Agreed. It's sad that Howard has all the tools but puts up average numbers for a center. His only benefit is that he stays relatively healthy for a center.

He's no Shaq.

He was a

dubmass in Orlando, too. I'm pretty sure they won't try to resign him and unless he grows up many will steer clear.
