You can leave Starkville, go to Oxford, smash box and come back to Starkville all within 3 hours. He will have no problem with that drive.

^^^^^^This x 10! ^^^^^ I have coached players who were recruited by UM and it is standard practice. While mom & dad are walking around with the host looking at the library or dorms. A current player who has befriended said recruit wants to show him the new toys in the football facility. Recruit comes back later tucking his shirt in and now smells like he took a bath in body spray to cover the other smell. Nothing to see here.

If they cut you off based on where you play football, you shouldn't be messing with them in the first place. Not saying I wouldn't -- just saying I wouldn't miss them when they were gone**

How can a guy who is set to choose between MSU & UM on Wednesday already be committed? Just accept it - he's no longer an MSU commit.
If he signs with UM, it's same ole story. If he signs with MSU, this was the most well orchestrated recruiting scheme in the history of MSU.

I don't know if there's a specific provision of the NCAA handbook that addresses this, but there should be. I wonder if we have beds set up or if they just go at it right there on the 50 yard line.

I'm sick of getting on here every day and seeing Chicken Little thread titles. Some of you have no confidence at all. If he comes to State, I will be extremely happy, as we will have the possibility to field one of our best defenses we've ever had.
If he chooses the bears, it'll be one more reason I want to see us skull drag the 17 out of them in late November every season. Not a class does 1 recruit make. We will be pretty damn good on defense for years to come, CJ would just further cement it.
