On the one hand, I want to let him have his way, because who gives a ****? On the other hand, I kinda want to provoke him. Maybe he takes his anger out on me instead of beating his wife tonight.

If you don't think OM would take Desper(UAAA), Carter, or Barnes at the drop a a hat, you are grossly misinformed.

</div><div>It's also funny to me how you, likely some suburban middle-aged overweight white guy, talks about "Jeremy" as if you're on a first name basis. The entire notion that you could know what an 18-yr. old black kid is thinking about is creepy and laughable at the same time.</div><div>
</div><div>But, you rebs have that mastered. That's why you all have about the biggest subscription base in the country, even though you have a ****** *** football team to show for it. </div><div>

Bet he calls him "J-Lig".

..you would recognize the irony in somebody pimping himself as "Beatdown" running anger & wife-beating smack.

And, no, I'm not going to link the definition of irony. Ask one of your alleged students to tell you want it means.

MSU is a sexier program right now. My students base their opinion on colleges on the amount of mentions on Sportscenter while they're trying to get the Lakers' score or the Cowboys highlights. We're absolutely in a nice funk right now at Ole Miss. If history is any indication, you'll be in one yourself soon enough, and it won't make any sense to you why. College football can be really wierd. But Jeremy Liggins stands to fare better if he stays with the hometown school - assuming the hometown school offer what he wants.

<div>Let's take the last two "funks":</div><div>
</div><div>2001-2003: Jackie depended too heavily on JUCOs, got a bad class of them, wheels came off. Couple that with his personal problems and disciplinary issues surfaced.</div><div>
</div><div>2004-2008: Pretty easy, Croom was an average recruiter and terrible coach.</div><div>
</div>You rebs don't get it. It's your general tone, like you know what's going on and are above it all. That's why people laugh at you. Deep down, you're worried sick that you may never get out of this "funk". You don't know what caused it. All you really know is you suck really bad but Yancy said we've got the starzzzzzz!!!!

...those stages of purgatory came about because of one bad class of JUCOs and one bad hire. Being that we just finished 2011, you're saying that 8 of the last 11 years were **** and, after that, you're happy with the 9-15 conference record over the last 3 years. Haha.

I know why we sucked. The difference between you and me is that I'm not in denial about where we are as a program. 9-15 conference record since 2008 is considered success? Based on what? Are you high? 9-15 in-conference?

He's doing the job I picked out for myself early in life. He turned out to be a world class fighter...I'm not much better than a local circuit guy at best.

up there. And don't bother trying to sell that you are some sort of academic genius. Based on what I have seen written here by you, I am not surprised that you teach at some Institution of Lower Learning. Pretty obvious you would struggle to get a job teaching in any quality academic institution.

Don't go away butt hurt though. The more you type, the more it explains the low academic achievement in Memphis schools. You are a really funny guy.

Reply to this with your exact academic complaints, and I'll try and explain them accordingly.

This is going to be fun. Aside from a typo or two, I bet you shut the hell up really quickly. I'm a doc, so this should be fun. Your profession is?

I'm an astrophysicists. Does that give my opinion on NCAA sports more credence? By the way, if you're a dentist, that doesn't count. I should still call 911 in case of an emergency.

There's a big difference in the two, especially on pay. Since you say you're a teacher, please tell me you don't teach high school and have a PhD. Who does that ****? Colleges pay more or is it that you like hanging out in the shower with 17-18 years olds teaching proper hygiene?

So he's a doctor , a teacher, a "circuit fighter"...... yadda yadda yadda.Hell, I bet he can be a chiropractor and give a reach around at the same time. (All in part of healthy medicinal practice mind you).So allhail tothelittle dick syndrom. Bet he drives a convertible corvette and jams REO Speedwagon and when he feels like getting in tune with with his "blackstudents" probably hits up some Vanilla Ice "Ice Ice baby".Get over yourself bro. It's scum like youthat actually make me laugh atyou and your currentathletic situation.

Young black kids don't deserve a PhD teaching them? And anyone educated who does must be a pedophile?

And we're the ones who are racist? Tell Satan I said hello in a couple of years. Sounds like you're trading your soul for a little Egg Bowl smack.

those 15 losses include teams ranked as follows #1, #1, #1, #2, #3 #5, #8, #9, #10, #12, #17, #19 (road), #27 (road), #32 (road), & #39 in the Final AP voting of the last 3 years.

That is correct. Every loss is to a team which received votes in the final yearly AP poll. 12 of the 15 are to teams that finished in the Top 20. 6 of the losses are to Top 5 teams. 3, obviously, to the National Champions.

Included in the 9 wins are 3 convincing wins over our in-state rival, including one over a good team that finished 20th. A win over Georgia for the first time in many many years. A road win over an admittedly down Florida team, but a good win in anybody's book (that Florida team finished with AP votes).

I call that success from where we started. I also call that a real analysis as opposed to what you did by mentioning the 9-15 like it was something to actually be embarrassed about in the most powerful conference division in the history of college football.

Awwwww. the poor little "doc cage fighter teacher principal second coming" cant stand some reality. You fit right into the rest of your Klan. Easy for you to put words into somebodies mouth with your jibberish. Aren't you the politically correct one. I can see it now, you are God's answer to educational equality doing your good deed yet hiding your white cloth under the facade of being open minded. Ohhh brilliant one guide us the way. Go 17 yourself , which I'm sure you do on a regular basis considering your attributes to yourself of being an educated understanding pioneer of all that equal , just and fair. Isn t it about time you get off dungeons and dragons and check in with the real world for a bit.</p>

You're reaching so 17n hard. Where did I say "young black kids don't deserve a PhD teaching them? " you brought race into dumb ***. I'm clearly stating that everyone I know that teaches and has a PhD is on the college level. If you're ok with high school pay then be my guess. Some people aren't cut out for college teaching.

Oh, almost forgot, your mother said hey and to get off the internet, you're embarrassing her.

To get back to the point, if Liggins picks us on the square in oxford, I will be most impressed. However, I don't think I'm gonna be that impressed because, honestly, I don't think it's ever going to happen. Wasn't he actively recruiting for OM a week ago?
