I dunno. Mullen’s making about the same at UNLV as Porter was making at UCLA, but Chip Kelly was making close to $7 Million when he was the UCLA head coach. Assumedly, a huge chunk of the head coach’s salary is from private/booster money and not the institution itself.

Plus, UCLA’s Big Ten payout will be about $40-$50 Million more annually than their old Pac-12 payouts.

Also, UNLV has financial problems too.
