but what I was trying to get across is that we've all of a sudden held football to higher standard and given baseball an excuse to be mediocre. Even when football went to the liberty bowl, it was evident that we still weren't that good, but when you look at that 2007 team, they had a chance to win the west going into the last weekend before losing 2 of 3 to bama. Baseball has one of the best fan bases in college baseball, Dudy Noble isn't as nice as some of the new SEC stadiums but we're not losing any recruits over it, we have amazing indoor facilities that rival if not exceed everyone else's, we pay our coaches well and we haven't lost any assistant's since Cohen has been here, which is rare be keep your assistant's for that long. We should be good. There's no excuse not to be. And we tend to give a pass to coaches till they can get their player's on campus. Brownlee is the only Polk player left and I don't think he's causing the mediocrity. The coaches took a gamble on a lot of juco players in their first full class, which is evidenced by the experienced team last year and it paid off by getting hot at the end but is causing some struggles this year. I wouldn't look for things for pick up a ton when those players get healthy.<div>
