I hope whatever ends up being the case in his personal life ends up ok. I have no beef with ZA, he just wasn’t cut out to be a head coach.
Hope all is ok with him. Say what you will about him, but he was a good DC. Promoting him to our HC position after Leach passed was a horrific idea. That whole debacle had to have taken a toll on him.
Yeah. That crossed my mind. ZA doesn't seem like the type to back down. And Mullen is a PITA to work for. I could see there being some clash. I hope it's that and nothing more serious.
Maybe Don told Zach that Mr. Defensive Coordinator would have to get his rear end out for recruiting visits during the season. I could come up with a few personal reasons to give him a double bird leaving-Las-Vegas salute.

This is gonna be glorious watching this dumpster fire. If Don had a single ounce of humility, he’d have been a highly sought after coach by now. Instead, he’s at a glorified junior college in one of the worst places to live in the US.

Would we call UNLV a glorified junior college? I mean… they’re not a traditional mid-major power, but they’re playing in one of the premiere NFL stadiums in the country in a growing metro area. They’re pretty much the reason the Mountain West didn’t implode last year and they’re going to be on the short list the next time the Big 12 or ACC adds members.
UNLV played a game in December last year with a playoff spot on the line. It's not a glorified junior college.

Looks like Arnett got canned. Guenther is a former NFL DC and was named associate head coach in March. Zero respect shown by Dan, but about as much respect was shown Leachs former staff. Arnett is a loser.

Why exactly was Arnett so much worse than Jeff Lebby? Jeff Lebby coaches like a 13 year old plays Madden. Against Mizzou he literally gave away points going for it on 4th doen so many times. If I was a Bulldog fan I would have been livid.
