I love seeing grown men accept **** results because they can’t accept their man crush is clouding their judgement.

If you like, the university of John calipari train is loading up and about outa here.

get a ticket. If you move fast he won’t scream at you to RUN.
Sorry she's dancing with another boy this evening at the Christmas Dance. It's ok, you'll find someone else. Hahahahahaha I think I enjoy listening to some of you cry and whine over this stuff more than a win. lol

Of course he said **** like that, he's all about generational poverty/NBA draft night now. Winning another title would have to fall into his lap.
Generational poverty. Lmao!!!!!

He’s coaching spoiled, entitled, modern day college basketball AAU kids. None of these kids are being “pulled out of poverty”.

Cal is a liar.

“helping guaranteed millionaires become millionaires since 2009.”

Cal coaches college basketball. If it was about helping kids in poverty he’d be at a high school somewhere.

People should have never let him go that route. It’s disgusting and a disgrace to those of us that work with youth in inner cities. Cal is a charlatan.

I didn’t say Cal was a bad coach, but recently he’s made comments to the media that he shouldn’t say. As far as having any more conversations with you I’d rather not. You’re very immature and you constantly attack people. I have no respect for that.
You have no basis or privilege to have an informed opinion on what a basketball coach should or should not say to the fans. He doesn't need your, mine or anyone else's approval. He's the boss.

My issue with his statement, isn't that losing November games, by itself, is so bad. But the problem is we need to win games to even make the tournament, or have solid seeding. I get that November wins or losses don't matter for a portion of us, but every win from here on out is that much more important.

Being 1-4 puts us in a deep hole. We have no easy games left. It's going to be literally playing top100ish teams the rest of the way.

Some of us don't tolerate losing ever.. but NONE of us tolerate missing the tournament.

DeerTurk, do you think Cal's statement was a smart thing to say. You seem to. so I was wondering.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
I think its a non-issue. Why would he care? He coaches his team and does what he and the staff think is right. The fans reactions to those results are totally irrelevant to him and his staff and should be. I didn't say he and the staff didn't care. I said they should care less about your (fans) opinions on him, the team, a player, a play or a result.

Keep losing and he damn well better care. This isn't Wright State. He isn't being paid what he is being paid to lose,

Cal has been clear. He doesn’t care about winning or losing.

He’s always been a charlatan. People just need to wake up.

Barnhart should be sent packing with him. They guy does nothing.

No basis or privilege? Insinuating that no one has a right to judge a coach is baffling. This is a UK sports message board where people post their opinions.

You have been clear that you don't know a thing about what you speak of.
Cal has been clear, that he don't care what you think about his teams winning or losing. And he shouldn't.
He's always been a great ambassador to college basketball and for the kids.
He's always represented the college well.
Barnhart, likewise, has done a fantastic job. These guys work as hard or harder than any.

Oh you have a right to judge for sure. The sad part is you only say things when its negative. You let your emotions run on a singular game or event. Take in the whole picture of what Cal has done here. Has he made mistakes? Sure, but wouldn't anyone?

That's where Calipari better be careful. If what you say is true, then he will soon be leaving Lexington. He needs to enroll in a UKBB History class and get a better grip on reality if he wants to comfortably stay here.
Joe B. Hall has had his hands all over Cal and the program. Cal knows the history and he has a grip on reality. The fans don't fire and hire coaches around here, thank the Lord.

Hello 2012? You still using those old tired lines.

Cal is, and has been, bad for college basketball. He shields himself from criticism by inventing phrases like "generational poverty" which is a total lie. It's disgusting. The guy pulls on people heart strings in order to make himself wealthy. He single handedly destroyed home and home series, he encourages dropouts, and he bastardized what college is supposed to be about. All to enrich himself.

You can go with him and please do.

Chicken ****.

Nope, just posters who bash the program and players. Maybe you're one????
I try to be a rational fan. You’re the first person since I’ve been posting on here that’s accused me of being one of those people. I’ve taken up for players and Cal numerous times. Idk if you realize it but you sound like a complete *******, whether you mean to be or not. Life’s to short for that man. Kick back, drink a cold beverage of your choice and stop attacking people constantly.

I think he needs an attitude adjustment at least. I think he has become too comfortable in his position. That's only my opinion but I think he takes this program for granted. This program was big before there ever was a Calipari. I appreciate what he has done to date but he is mistaken if he thinks he is bigger than this program. This program will be around long after John Calipari just like it was before John Calipari. Facts are facts,

When a coach at the University of Kentucky makes an asinine statement like that after his 4th straight loss to a team picked to finish 12th in the ACC, something has to be said to him.

We are the WINNINGEST program in college basketball(for now). His shtick is wearing thin on a fan base that is used to beating everyone. For $10 million/year, he should FEEL obligated to keeping the UK tradition alive, instead he mocks fans.

I’m growing tired of it and I know a few Bigtime Donors that are also. Cal hears EVERYTHING, don’t let his comments fool you.

The sad part of all this: Cal told everyone what his priorities were from day one, get kids to the NBA in a year. I didn’t like it then, and I don’t like it now. But as long as he was making final fours, most just accepted it as genius. But who in their right mind thought that was the way to run a program? Well, it’s gone completely sour, and Cal is still defending it and ignoring the obvious. How many CEO’S have you seen act the same just before abandoning ship? He won’t stay much longer, and for me, much is too much. He is a washed up used car salesmen at best.
