What is Kodi going to do? If he transfers, I say we are looking at one and done in the tourney. The SEC really did suck this year and sucked hard.

it could be a special year next year for us. You know who would have his best chance ever at making a Sweet 16...If Kodi leaves, we will struggle with nothing in the post but Varnado and Bailey

He was playing fairly well till he got his 2nd foul....he had 5 of our 19 points cause we couldnt score and was playing some decent interior defense...

of the floor. He's done two bad things today. Airballed a 3 and turned the ball over early in the 1st half. How many bad things have R Johnson and SWAT done today? I'll tell you. Everytime they have been near the ball they have made mistakes on both ends of the floor.

Coach, another backhanded shot at Stans?
Kodi doesn't make or break our team, especially next year, and we'll have Osby and Bailey in the post to help, as well as Turner, who is better than Augustus anyway. Why do you continue to act like having Kodi is the only way we could win an SECW title or make a sweet 16?
It was sure as hell easy for you to say he was the second coming while he was on the bench, but now that he's playing I think it's obvious that he's not indispensable. He's solid and he helps, but he's not good enough to be our go to guy. He has the slowest release on his jumper than anyone on the team.

I guess I was mainly talking about the first half where he had one pass go off of his face and another go straight through his hands and out of bounds. he did pick it up ome in the second. The whole team just sucked today

This is the biggest bunch of ******** that you have ever put on this board and that is saying a lot, it's a flat out lie. Please folks don't start spreading this ****. There have been no rumblings of Osby leaving. C34 is just making up **** to stir things up, this is what he does.

First off, I don't see Kodi leaving, why would he want to sit another year? He'll be in the mix to start next year. I can see Ravern coming off the bench. Also, Osby will be much improved, if Kodi does leave I think Osby would be very close to what Kodi is now, maybe better as he hustles more.

its just something that has been mentioned...my source could be totally off...but as he said "Osby was told he would start, and he is very disappointed he didnt"....
As far as Kodi and the "why would he want to sit another year?" crowd- Answer this- Why would Kodi want to come back to State and play 15-18 mins as Turner's back-up another year? What has happened that would make Kodi think Stansbury is going to bring Ravern off the bench and start him instead?

We may have nobody leave...but based on the last few seasons, I wouldnt 17'ing count on it....We need Augustus and Osby badly, hope they stay with us

Either you or your "source", simply made that up. Osby is happy where he is, he wants to be at State. He was actually never told he would start either, you made that up as well, oh sorry, i mean your "source" made that up. Kodi is one thing, but there is no question as to where Osby will be playing next season.

Wasnt he their MSU player of the game?

If he didnt show up today, then what the hell would you classify Ravern and Bost as doing?...not even making the Fn trip out West?

any school in the country not in Starkville.

He would go there so he could play 25-30+ minutes b/c there are a lot of schools that will play him that much.

Being the player of the game for us today didnt mean a whole hell of a lot. And like I have already stated I posted that earlier when I was watching him shoot air ball 3's, and lose passes out of bounds. he definitely picked it up in the second half. And where did I say Bost or Ravern had a good day? oh yeah, I didn't.

and the players keep progressing at the same rate they have been. The starting 5 should be Bost, Turner, Phil, Kodi, and Swat. Ravern can shoot the ball and, um, well thats pretty much all he does. Does he defend? Nope. Can he block out? Nope. He is an excellent shooter, but he will be better served in that roll off the bench where his defense doesn't hurt us as much as it did this season.

Of course this depends on Jarvis coming back, how Osby develops, and that everyone comes back. Bost should be much more comfortable running the point with a season under his belt, and he's a badass anyway. I also think either Phil or Barry should be the backup point guard instead of Beckham (sp?), unless he develops further. He really could have used a redshirt year this season.

and for whatever reason, Rick is scared to let Turner play 3. Ravern was a disaster today but when Johnson and Kodi came in, Turner came out as opposed to Ravern.

Correct, you didnt say they had good games...because they didnt. They had horrible games. Their play was total ****.

You called the guy lazy, and yet he collected 7rebs(second most on the team) and scored 9 points(second most on the team). What i am saying is if that is what lazy is, then what the hell do you call what Ravern and Bost did?...cuz they were WAY worse than the 'lazy' Kodi.

Get my point now?

Lazy is him having passes go off of his hand to go out of bounds, or passes bouncing off of his face. he just didnt seem into it in the first half. Once again the post was made in reference to the first half That is all I was saying you @@$%%@@ putz. get it now?

I'm not asking you to believe me, I'm just telling C34 that he is full of ****. I know what I know, whether you believe it or not doesn't matter. I just wanted to say something in response to what C34 said in the smallest of hope that what he made up about Osby doesn't start spreading around. And I'll say it again, C34 made that up out of thin air in hopes to get people questioning the state of the program.

somebody out of Starkville told me that about Osby. Your people may be wrong, my people may be wrong...we'll see...You could be right, but after the last few years, its hard to just blow that off....

I can assure you of one thing- my saying this isnt going to make Osby transfer...

You clarified that is was in reference to the 1st half in a different post. I was responding to this one...you dont mention only the first half here. I read that other comment after i responded to you.

If you meant the first half, then just say that to begin with.

Face it, you just cant stand Augustus and have some odd fascination with pointing out his mistakes. Like when you posted that he had airballed a shot...yet i didnt see any new threads started by you when others on the team airballed shots or took horrible shots at illadvised times.

Its cool, you are among friends here, let your guard down and just air it out. You dont like Augustus and you like pointing out when he messes up.

Of all the players on our team, you chose to say he was the lazy one? Even in just the first half? That, SON, is some serious targeting with blinders on.

Augustus is back and Osby knows what he has to do to get more playing time. We saw it today. They are not physical enough and another year should help on that.
