Does the SEC National Championship streak come to an end?

Does the Heisman curse rear it's head?

Does the barns' ridiculious luck continue to fall their way in close games?

I think FSU wins. Auburn's defense is mediocre at best and FSU should shred it. And FSU's defense has had a month to prepare for the Auburn offense. They won't stop it, but I think they slow it down enough to win the game.

FSU, although Auburn moves the ball. I just don't see Auburn stopping FSU's offense. Too many weapons, and too much balance.

42-31 FSU.

Auburn. They've beaten teams they shouldn't have beaten all year. Malzahn will have a good gameplan, and they'll stick to it. My prediction is 42-38.

I am curious of two things.

#1. If things go adverse early, how will Winston react. Does he dig deeper, or does he fold up? I'm not sure he has really been tested.

#2. I don't think FSU has seen athletes like AU has (regardless of how unstable their D has been as a whole). I want to see how FSU's best players will play having a guy across from them just as big, fast, and talented. I "think" they are used to being able to out talent everyone in the ACC, but who knows whether that gap is still there between the SEC and other conferences after that Bama debauchle. Part of me thinks if AU stuffed bama so much when they needed to, then they can do it to anyone in the country. that argument is debatable at best.

Should be an interesting game.

I just don't see Auburn having enough defense to pull it off...

Of course, I've thought that about them four or five times this year.

FSU will throw all over Auburn and score pretty easily in the first half. But Auburn will extend plays with their qb and run all over FSU in the second half. I predict Auburn to come from behind at some point and eventually control the game. Auburn gets a lead in the 4th quarter and adds another score before time expires.

Auburn is allll run game. They are actually one of the worst passing teams in FBS. If you're FSU, stack the box and take your chances in the passing game.

Team with the most points when time expires will be declared the winner.

That'd be rule #2a from the football handbook.

Just don't play a prevent defense.

Auburn actually threw very well against State all game. They had a few dropped passes by wide open receivers, and of course Marshall almost scored a TD on a pass to himself.

I could be completely off base...

but I don't see how Auburn is remotely in the same class as Florida State. I think Auburn is getting rated more highly than they should be because they are in the SEC and we've won seven straight national championships. I can see Florida State winning this by 3 touchdowns.

But what do I know...

No one really knows how good FSU is. Their competition has been absurdly awful this year. They have one of the best statistical defenses to ever play in the BCS championship, but I will be surprised if they can hold Auburn to less than 30 points. I do think they will get some stops, while Auburn will have to rely on FSU shooting itself in the foot, but its so hard to predict what will happen when FSU has not been challenged even once.

The real question is whether FSU will be over-confident, and panic if Auburn gets in a couple of early punches.

They threw 2 interceptions as well. If I have to pick my poison against Auburn, it's passing game every time.

Auburn

I don't think FSU's competition has been that good overall.

I don't think they have had their nose blooded this year, and had to get up off the matt.

And this should be interesting to watch.

I still hate Auburn...
