6 Scholarship players and 2 walk ons. If we end up with a suspension and/or foul trouble, does the opponent just get a power play? Has that ever happened before?

If you get to the point you only have 5 players available and 1 of them fouls out, you just keep playing with 4 players. You occasionally hear about it happening in a high school game somewhere. I actually had it happen to a jr high church league team I was coaching years ago.We just played a box and 0 on defense.
Not that he would necessarily want it but...
Wendell has played in 8 games this year and it appears his career on the court at MSU is all but over. Question is, if he wanted, is 8 games too many to request a medical redshirt for this year so that he could play next year? Problem is he's going to have to stay off that leg for it to heal the entire time during the 8 week time frame and even if he gets a couple of weeks back on the court at the end of the season he won't be in game shape.

he has to have played in less than 30% of our total games for the season, so yes he should be able to qualify if he wants.
i certainly wouldnt mind him coming back next season. yeah he is very limited in his abilities, but he has improved each season and there is no reason to think he wouldnt continue.
