I notice that Ray reported no violations. C'mon, Rick, how are you going to land Newman without a special sticker?!?!

#14. Jan. 9, 2014 – A web site used a current football player's name. The site sold items bearing the player's name and likeness.

Man, Ole Miss must have caught all kinds of hell for the parties where Nick Brassell and others were going to be hosting a blowout. Funny, I don't remember the Clarion Ledger article discussing it though...

i still have no idea how we didnt get the death penalty for all the high-end art we were sending to recruits. picasso would be envious....

i heard an original collins is currently going for a cool $575,000 where last year they were only $325,000. with their appreciation, their value is going to continue to skyrocket and these pieces are going to be really hard to get.

You do realize every school

self-reports these type violations. Not every SEC school, every school.

What I don't get is you aren't blasting the NCAA for these ridiculous rules. Instead you harass one of our own for doing his job just like other compliance guys at other schools (see HD6's post for examples).

All schools do it, but the local media doesn't report non-stories like this everywhere else.

9. Oct. 28, 2013 – A local apartment complex used the likeness of several MSU football players in a tweet without their knowledge or consent.

Only the NCAA is allowed to do things like this.

They loved to report on it when we had Orgeron. They loved to report on it with Kiffin at UT too.

Secondary violation reporting is a non-story, yet it seems some dope at a newspaper every few years gets excited when it crosses his desk, and he writes a story about it like it's something.

In my opinion, if you aren't reporting a good number of secondary violations every year, you aren't trying.
