I think
you misunderstood the point of the post. It was directed at people calling out Cohen for not batting Rea cleanup, and instead putting Frazier, Detz, Renfroe & Pirtle ahead of him. While Rea does have more RBIs in SEC play, he also didn't languish at the bottom 1/3 of the lineup for half the year (nearly). Also, by putting Pirtle in front of Rea, it's allowed Rea to have more opportunities with guys on base it seems. Hell Pirtle has 27 hits (second only to Renfroe) in SEC play, half as many K's as Rea, has hit into half as many DPs as Rea, and has a considerably higher OB% (not to mention that we're 7-3 with Pirtle in the 4 spot ahead of Rea). Again, my point was that it's not that outrageous of an idea to have Rea hitting behind Frazier, Detz, Renfroe, & Pirtle.
