I'm a long suffering Westover alum. I keep waiting for the program to rise but it just never happens. Coaches just come and go and can't build or sustain any momentum at all. I still support them and hope for the best but have to face the facts. We are one of the have nots and will likely stay there. We still do pretty well in hoops though so at least we have that. Baseball team is even worse had gone 8 years without a single win until last year. I believe the main problem is the school district is primarily locked in by Fort Bragg and all the housing in the school district is old and has no room to build new houses. Nobody wants to buy homes in this part of the city. Maybe I'm wrong but just my guess.
