Yeah. I've been thinking about this one. I think the stallions will come out with a lot of momentum from last weeks win. Once again they need to bring that lock down defense and make some big stops like they did last week. Does anyone know anything about West Brunswick?
Yeah take away one if not both special teams score and the game would have been a run away. Still good run backs by the Eagles on those. If I were to bet I would say a decent amount of time would go into special teams as well.
Haven't heard anything about west Brunswick this year but they usually have a lot of athletes after seeing the D Line that east Bladen had I think it should really prepare our boys for a bigger school this week, they used to run the option a bit against us when I played so usually they have very athletic quarterbacks, should be a good matchup. Coach Spivey is still the defensive coordinator for the Trojans I believe. I'm just ready to see our stallions back at it again baby!! Wing-T style!!
Trojan running back Anthony "Bubba" McCray was very good against Hoggard in Jamboree and in opening win against Socastee (24 carries for 267 yards. As a team, West Brunswick rushed for 472 yards.) Big back with excellent speed. Should be a good game.
Me also 2011....I do love a great defense....actually watched the 07 Stallions hold Loris to negative 50 or 75 yards for the game....Had never seen a team have negative yards for the game....07 Stallions would SWARM the runner...never seen anything like it....but hope to see again this year....
Something to shoot for 2016 Stallions....lets just see what you guys on defense can do....
Correct me if I'm wrong but think 07 had only gave up 66 points going into the State Championship game
The 07 team was a team that only comes along once every 15-20 years.... Talent at every position .... The only thing that separates them from the 98 and 03 team was the passing attack and being able to defend the passing attack....
WB will be very tough! Lot's of speed. You can believe Coach Spivey will have his D ready for us. BUT, Coach Dove will have this young Stallion team ready! I assure you of that!
Coach Dove has this Stallion team playing hard and they are gaining confidence every play. Just from seeing highlights the Trojans look like a pretty tough and balanced team, good qb and running backs. You know they will have size and depth. If South Columbus keeps playing the way they did last week though, they will be tough to beat. I agree with Wing T, got to do better on special teams.

Absolutely agree! We cannot lay down a single week ESPECIALLY against a very strong West Brunswick team and yes we are very excited because it seems so good to see us doing the things at South that we are used to from a fan and former player. Just glad not to be running the Triple Hutchinson, haha but no really best of luck to him at Whiteville.
Hats off to an excellent West Brunswick football team for getting the win tonight! Glad to see our boys never stop fighting. We still have a long way to go but we are heading in the right direction, this stallion team is very young! But I'm proud of them all! On to the Loris Lions next week!!
We are were I'd thought we'd be after two weeks 1-1 but I didn't think we'd beat EB and lose to WB... Very young stallion group that has a long way to go... Should be a barn burner next week ... Stallions are still headed in the right direction
