West Caldwell vs East Lincoln

I think WC will win but they have to take care of the football and hopefully capitalize on a few EL mistakes. Our running game was good this past week against West Stokes and we had a lot of success on the ground against the Mustangs the first time around. We must have a solid gameplan to control Cameron Dollar and that will involve keeping pressure on the young EL quarterback. Hate I will miss this one!
Looking for east in the upset, hopefully the mustangs learned from the first game and shock the warriors
I see this game as a vengeance thing for East. I see them playing more conservative but with a chip on their shoulder. Their a tough bunch of kids and they didn't have all those wins in a row against Lincolnton for nothing. Turnovers costed East the last game for anyone viewing the post that wasn't there. If they play mistake free ball, West COULD fall. Notice I said could. This is a great team well athletic and well coached. Could win toe to toe if both teams had zero turnovers.

And you also remember Tucker only played in the first Quarter? What if he plays the whole game? Not saying WC will win but the "straight up" theory doesn't hold water if he's still in the game. Such a crucial player on both sides of the ball!
Does anyone know what has happened with #20 was not dressed out and was not on the side lines for West Stokes game.
East Lincoln has got to come in ready to play, the first half has killed them in so many games, teams they should have blown out are in the game, then when you play a WC type of team and give them so many opportunities early it turns ugly as it did in game one. I think this EL team still has a lot to prove, and a lot of proven seniors, don't see the same thing happening this game that happened last, this offense has found an identity with Childers, Graham and Dollar X 2. Let's go Mustangs. Good luck to all the WC folks, I think this is going to be a great 2nd round game. Mustangs in the up set. And yes, icardcav3 that is exactly what I said last game, 100% agree, but this is a new week and a new game, I believe advantage always goes to the team that was beat the first time especially when you have two quality teams going at it as we will this Friday night.

It will be a good game. WC is very strong at home (7-0) . I will say this, if English turns Tucker loose they win this game but if for some crazy reason he has a Lincolnton game relapse where he failed to use Tucker then they go down. English has done a wonderful job at WC but sometimes his playcalling bewilders me.
Byus is one of the top coaches around. Surprised by score but not the outcome.
Good job East Lincoln way to make changes from game to game now on to basketball for the warriors. Will say the refs let the game get carried away late lead to a couple ejections number 24 for East should have been gone for throwing a punch but he wasn't.

Got sacked and took his helmet off in frustration- I didn't realize you get ejected for that. Though rule really and I'm sure he feels bad about it.
Congratulations to the Mustangs. Looks like they were ready, and might be peaking at the right time. Could be the year they beat Monroe.
Great game by the mustangs, Tucker just lost it, another got ejected and then with about 7 minutes to go one just walks off the field and heads to the house, Mustangs came to play and very proud of them, definitely played some Mustang football tonight, hats off to Coach Byus.

7 minutes left in game, no need to call out names or numbers, just got ugly hate it for WC players and coaches and players, great season for them, heading to 3A next year and I believe a 3A/4A conf, coach could be moving on but not from that area and not sure how tied he is to that community and what is coming, if he stays WC could continue to grow, good luck in the future
What, now that's a joke right, he got sacked AGAIN, had a fit, threw the ball at the player that sacked him and THEN tgrew his helmet there wasnt an EL player within 5 yds of him when the helmet went flying, he actually threw it 2 more times before he got to the sideline, a coach finally picked it up along with his ear pads that went flying and kept it. Kid had a great career at WC hate it ended that way. Good luck in basketball, unfortunately for everyone the road to that goes through Lincolnton.
