This matchup is being projected as a huge matchup. I could see this being a tough physical matchup. Any Charlotte or Grimsley fans on here. Any thoughts on this game.

I saw where Grimsley was projected to be the 7A State Champions and West Charlotte the 8A State Champions. It's going to hard to find a better game.
At the end of the season, I can see a lot of people Saying 7A is better than 8A while others will say 8A is better than 7A...this will be a thing. We may be re-visiting this particular game as the decider.

Definitely the biggest game this week. I would love to see this one.
WC just tied it on a 2 pt conversion with 8 secs left
Grimsley wins. WC’s penalties killed them. Scored on their first play of OT and went for 2 but didn’t get it because of a false star that pushed em back. They need a kicker badly
Both teams had strong defenses in a very physical game. QB battle was epic. Early season errors were evident, but as these two mature they have to be the 7A and 8A faves.
Grimsley 14-2 against Charlotte area teams since 2019. I know it stings.
The transfer portal and unofficial recruiting are paying off. You would think they would raise questions. Before their current coach arrived, Grimsley hadn't seen success or made playoffs when they came into being for 61 years. And now suddenly they are this state power!
