West Columbus at Whiteville

Whiteville is 1-3 and we are 0-4. Do we have a chance in this one at all? Any thoughts on this conference opener?

Pride to be honest ,no. Defense of pack to good. Maybe best Defensive coach in conf.
Enough talent on offense to put up big numbers vs Vikings. I wish I could say different but not this year.
WC seems to be tired after 1 quarter in each game,plus all the injuries. But got to keep plugging away. I'll say this will get ugly in 2 quarter. I'm not the coach,but WC needs to get out of the spread go back to double wing and run football. OL can't protect QB.
Now WC will have to step up its total game with better teams coming up.
Pack will pin ears back and play D.
Same with SC after that. 2 good defense teams coming up.

I agree with Goto, it's most likely goin to go the Packs way. Whiteville is improving every week it seems. Hopefully the Vikings will catch a few breaks and get some forward momentum goin, but that's tough with all the injuries they have had. I didn't realize WC was running the spread, man that's tough to run effectively the first year. Best of luck to both teams!!

Whiteville is not going to be down for too long ... They have the athletes, tradition and the coaching to put themselves in the thick of things by the time the regular season is over. Small moral victories is probably the best thing that can come from this for West Columbus.
