This will be a true road environment and good prep for the conference slate. Come out of there with a win and I'm fully on the believer side. Should be awesome for recruiting too.

Good lord Allen, do you just troll posters all day long. You attacked me last night you attacked me today; I've never attacked you or anyone other poster on here. I think I'm finally done with this board too and will leave you to your sad life of only feeling good when you try to bully others. I almost rejoined the Blue Lot during the deal last week and you are a great reminder of the type of people that caused me to quit there last year. Hopefully @Vernon appreciates your business as it's costing him others.

(Maybe me quitting this board gives you the 3-seconds of pleasure you're seeking, enjoy the after-cookie!)

Xavier lost to #14 Gonzaga, 88-84, to Duke, 71-64,

beat Florida, 90-83 (WVU beat Florida, 84-55!),

lost to #10 Indiana, 81-79, lost to #17 Duke, 71-64, lost to #14 Gonzaga, 88-84.

So this will be a good early-season test of WVU’s March Madness potential.

I think Huggins Heroes can take Xavier, but it won’t be easy.

Comparative scores against Florida favor WVU, but they don’t always predict outcomes of common Florida opponents when they play each other.

It should be an interesting game. Certainly more fun than watching Neal Brown destroy WVU football!

Outstanding work in Portland, even in the loss to Purdue. Down 4 with 5 minutes left against the Sequoias is impressive. Maybe by March Madness the 3 flu bug victims will be at 100%, which might have brought an upset against Purdue in Portland. I LOVE this team! High hopes from me. It may be a fun season!

Kilichli Redo.
Why does Huggs have Bell chasing backcourt guys on the perimeter, leaving Xavier bigs open underneath? Doesn’t make sense to me.

This is the kind of game you have to win early in the season to keep that momentum going.

Sloppy ball-handling and passing, which WVU overcame against lesser teams by forcing turnouts, bit the Mountaineers in the butt against Xavier, a 5-3 team with a lot of close games against good teams.

Ball-handling and passing must be addressed and improved before more big boys come along! Still have high hopes for this team but they're too casual with the ball to succeed against tough competition.

WVU looked better against Purdue than it did against Xavier, a good team.

WVU was up 12, then got erratic consistently. Can't have that if you want to do anything big this season.

Lesson learned, hopefully.

Was Wague in coach's doghouse tonight? I thought I saw him early.
If I remember correctly, he gave up a free throw rebound to a tie up and immediately got yanked. Okonkwo looks lost out there. We need minutes from Wague. Especially when he can defend the rim.
