You used the word Elite (you playing hypotheticals). Change two possessions a game is not being hypothetical? You continuously present your opinions as facts. You throw out hypotheticals but don't want to argue them. I am done with you.
Point is West Virginia is looking to stay in games while Texas is looking to win these games.
Big difference. Two possession swing by WVU from last year and they are still a 9-9 team in the Big 12.
Hypotheticals is what will be true for this basketball season. Might not know until February.

That team doesn't know how to win plus half the team is brand new.
Huggins can't jump on the floor no matter how much he wants to.
I have respect for Bob Huggins as a coach but this team is still a work in progress.

Culver has issues with lateral quickness and providing length.
He isn't Konate defensively.
Oscar could be but heard his game is raw. Not much of a shot or a developed game on offense.
But he is athletic and should provide minutes.
Basketball is a pick and roll game. Need bigs who can move and guard off the dribble.
Plus McCabe didn't provide the needed pressure on top of the perimeter.
I like Haley. Thought when he started playing WVU looked much better last year.

If you put Culver in the paint where is Oscar and can he generate offense in that position.

Texas is a inconsistent team that has lacked on the court leadership.
Does that change this year. Like I said they were close on so many games the last two years.
They are bringing in an attitude of they can play with anyone and that a few more stops and Texas is a Top 5/10 team.

I think what our asshat Texas fan is saying is that the Texas coach, who has not coached up his players while he has been in Texas, will suddenly accomplish that while the WVU players who were freshman will not improve despite playing for a coach who has made a career out of coaching up players. Despite Oscar's legendary rec center battles with Konate for 2 summers and being a Mac AA, we don't know what we have in him and Huggs cannot play him and Culver together.

Well we got thru our November and December without your predicted 3 to 5 losses. Kind of like I thought, you really don't know much.
Before the season I think most did.
Losing like they did last year helped. Huggins was right about the improvement the players made.
They are getting better on the defensive end at PG.
If Knapper can play under control he provides the best minutes defensively.
