Most of the issue is these guys are not comfortable with each other. Bob needs to take a lesson from West Liberty. He has ten guys basically. Split them into two teams that get used to working together. Sub each team in and out at will and keep them fresh. McCabe, McNeil, Hailey, Oshie and Oscar. McBride, Sherman, Matthews, Harler, Culver. Knapper and Routt come in when someone gets into foul trouble.

I can't blame them. Huggins is such a sour puss 24/7 that I'm amazed a style is ever had within the program.

WV doesn't have a player that has confidence in his shooting ability. The bigs can't make shots from only 2 feet out! They don't shoot the ball, they heave it up and hope for a foul. Of course, if they draw a foul...........they can't hit the 'free' throws. The season started out so well. What happened?

Not disagreeing that no one can shoot. Just saying the guy guarding him does not have to stay up on him and so they can back off and cover the passing lanes which then makes him even worse. He needs to drive a little and do a step back jumper. As should McBride as well. and probably Sherman

hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

All you can do now.

The customary 2nd half collapse has now become comical. These players quit and they're simply reflecting the attitude of the coach. Time to transition Huggins off the bench. He is paid 3.8 million to sulk on his stool, ***** at the refs, and embarrass and berate his players.

Coach K, Williams, Calipari, Self, et al say things like, "Man, thanks for signing with us," to their recruits.

Huggins says, "you're welcome" then **** talks you post-game and only acknowledges you long enough to dehumanize you on national TV.

Honestly, does he coach during timeouts or does he see these as an opportunity to scream at the refs?

Que all the McBride made 2 six footers while letting his man set up easy baskets on every possession so that means he was almost winning the game by himself crowd

I have heard this is a young team - with the implication being that they will be better next year.
But I wonder how many players leave the team in the offseason? Anyone else think we could have 2 or 3 surprise departures?

I wouldn't faulty any player on this team for bolting. Imagine shooting too early in the shot clock because you were wide open and getting yanked because you didn't allow Huggins' "famous offense" to develop. Or being called every name in the book in practice after a bad pass. Or being forced to run handle-less treadmills set to 20 mph for throwing a bad pass in practice.

Some say you can't recruit big names to Morgantown. ********. I live here. It exists to cater to big-time athletes. 5* athletes will get the press coverage whether they go to Pullman, WA, Memphis, or Chapel Hill. You're treated like a god here.

They don't bother looking at WVU because Huggins has a reputation outside of Morgantown of being a miserable, arrogant prick. No 19-year-old lottery pick will bother with a past-his-prime, verbally abusive coach nothing but a handful of impressive March wins who acts like he's doing you the favor of having the privilege of being yelled at by him on national TV.
