The announcers are even flat out explaining how bad Doege is at seeing the field unless he is completely safe and not afraid of impending pressure. This game is every bit as bad as Doege has ever played and unless a miracle happens we should only see Crowder after or Greene the rest of the year.

When the announcer is saying the same things others on here are, that Doege is not able to move the team, that's vindication that a change is needed. We aren't winning 6 games and going to bowl anyways, why not get experience for the other guys?

I think this is the worst offensive game I’ve seen since we played Maryland in DC 6 or 7 years ago. I think Ford Childress started that game.

81 yards of offense after 50 minutes of play. Pathetic. It's not all on Doege, but if a 5th year QB with 3+ seasons of starting experience isn't the bright spot, then that is a bad game for that QB. If that same QB has been this bad for 6 of 9 games, it's starting to look like you just have a bad QB.

In 3 games against Okie State under HCNB, WVU has rushed for 111 net yards on 96 rushing attempts.

This should tell HCNB some things:

1. His running schemes stink and need to change. How about an offense with a fullback? There are a limited number of running plays you can try with a 1-back shotgun offense and they don't work against Okie State's defense.

2. He has gone too long with too small OL who can't generate push.

3. This team needs RBs who aren't pedestrian. We've had too many RBs with no burst, who can't make tacklers miss, who look, well, not special. Nothing special about HCNB's RB group. In other words, too pedestrian.

4. You can't have a QB who is less mobile than Johnny Unitas (and he's dead).

Doing the same things over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. HCNB is insne if he doesn't make drastic changes in the way he does things on offense.
