Strick is a huge 125 which I think gives him an advantage in duals but hurts him in 2 day tourneys. No way he normally walks around close to 125, and it seemed to me that you see that at Big 12’s and NCAA’s.

Can I join in after 125. Strick vs Spratley matches gave me ptsd I think.
Feels like this should be Willie McDougald JR by now. Kid has been around forever it feels likes. Perry Ellis style.
WVU looked decent at CK so I think some guys will be tested more than we think.

I guess the Ramirez era is here to stay.
Ramirez earned that loss with 0 shots in the 1st period. He did shoot later in the match but didn't score. He gave up a takedown in a scramble where he tried to hang on to a leg and the other guy got higher and he was unaggressive again and gave up the takedown and the match. Vega had the same match but in a scramble he was aggressive in the end and got high and got the takedown for the win. Not a great start.

Swiderski was solid in the 1st period with 2 takedowns and then he spent 4 minutes straight mostly on his belly and face in the mat. When he stood up, he did nothing and got tripped down to lay on his stomach with his face in the mat. He got interviewed and basically said the truth that he stunk. He won but it was pitiful.

Robideau was aggressive and effective with lots of takedowns and got a tech. It is a shame he had to wrestle a backup. Dee won by decision not very impressive though. Lockett did the minimum to win. He recognized it wasn't a good effort and during the interview Dee acknowledged it was a C effort by him.

Facundo wrestled a backup also and won by tech. Too many backups in their lineup.
