Area 51 match ups for week 11 are very interesting.

1. Statesville at Hickory- can the Hounds hang with Hickory?

2. North Iredell at West Iredell- North can wins this game and might sneak into playoffs.

3. North Lincoln at East Lincoln- Big Rivalry of Lincoln County. East for the upset.

4. Fred T Foard at St Stephens- Foard has 2 winnable games left to end the losing streak? Can they do it.

East Lincoln win could be a 3 way tie for 2nd in Conference. Statesville, North Lincoln. and East Lincoln with 2 Conference losses. Hickory has way too much talent for Statesville. We will see what happens.

North Lincoln by 10 against East Lincoln.
QB Sipe and his three running backs will excel early.
Linebacker Ryan Bassani and his defense will pressure Lawless and he will be rattled from the start.

I don’t see East Lincoln getting by a run heavy North Lincoln team. The triple option with three elite running backs and a very quick QB will be a test for those ponies at East Lincoln. They will be guessing who has the ball !!!

I know our Mustangs are looking to win big in this game. Our guys are going to be punching at the ball because we have heard that they are prone to fumbling. They run we punch !!!

Hickory is both undefeated in varsity and JV as well. They have done really well and even last year as well. Statesville has shown progress. Only 1 loss in JVs which was a non conference game. And Varsity only 1 loss as well which was a conference game. I’m looking forward to seeing JVs play but will be at another game for varsity

Statesville 27 Hickory 44
I think this will stay for a half and Hickory slowly builds away. Statesville is prob the best team hickory has seen in term of speed n weapons but Penalties will be the callous of this team and mistakes where hickory has very rarely makes mistakes.

North Iredell at West Iredell
On Paper these team are even but North has 1 more win. This game is 50-50 but I’ll take West here — 28-26

NL at EL
Another tough game is pick. EL is a solid team - NL is tough to beat - If NL play well they are hard to stop. Give me NL by 10

Self destructed is a nice way to put it . Have Mercy winning the game in 2nd half and get so many unsportsmanlike and personal fouls even an ejection gotta be smarter than that. They gift wrapped two tds for Hickory

Statesville's 1st touchdown drive was aided by a pass interference call against HHS on a 4th down play and the last drive started at midfield after an unsportsmanlike penalty against HHS on the last play interception of the first half. You can't play "poor me" when you're undisciplined and wear down as your team did last night. Emotion will only take you so far and character us what you are and do when no one is looking. Good luck to your team in the playoffs.

I think you mentioned Statesville was undefeated in conference play until Hickory but they did lose to North Lincoln. All good man I’ve missed a few over the years. I’d say North only beat Statesville because the took advantage of a few mistakes, managed to get pressure on their QB, and held on tight to the ball every play and didn’t fumble any.
Fumbling against Hickory was their downfall and it may have been closer game but I won’t say they’d a won lol

You stop the dive play and you beat NL! Statesville didn't do that. Protecting the football will definitely keep you in the game, but it will not win it for you. Scoring more points is the reason a team wins.

Last year Hickory beat North Lincoln soundly during the regular season. They meet again in playoffs and it’s a game for 2 quarters. All with the same players pretty much that they have back out there now.

I had it as a blow out so I’ll give Statesville props but Like I said in the video hickory doesn’t make many mistakes and Statesville did so it ultimately caught up with them

I just dont get how West Iredell is this bad. They have athletes everywhere.
