Cheerduck, thank you, my friend. My numbers, are usually pretty conservative. Wouldn’t surprise me if it is by more than 18.
*Side Note: Cheerduck, if I could offer a senior citizens’ WARNING; Seems like I learn something about every month (THE HARD WAY)…Yesterday morning I went over to the grocery store. Took one of the carts out of the rack and noticed the child’s seat was open on the cart. Tried to get it to shut but it wouldn’t, so I left it open.
After awhile I got the large package of paper towels and was putting them in the cart but the child’s seat was in the way, so I got a hold of the top and put a lot of force behind it. Finally, it popped loose, slamming against the back of the seat, and mashed the daylights out of my thumb, which was in the way…It hurt like the devil, and out of pain and frustration, I barked out (pretty loud), a special word that begins with the 12th letter of the Greek alphabet…When I looked away from my thumb, there must have been about 20 people in the aisle, and all of them looking at me.
One old man with a necktie on, who looked to be older than me, had his bill run out like he was insulted, but at the time I didn’t much care.
Nevertheless, I wanted to tip you off about this new, old peoples trap that I’ve discovered. Reidsville poster, The Mule, told me once, to be on guard about how dangers increase for old people. No truer words.

When I get one of those type of carts, I usually push it backwards to avoid the possibility of injury!
Bandys at East Lincoln : EL by 14. EL is strong, they are very hard to beat at HOME!
Bunker Hill vs Maiden: Maiden didnt look all that good vs NL. I think this could be closer then some thing but I see maiden winning here. Give me Maiden 42 BH 21
Hickory at Newton Conover : Hickory 42 N-C 17
North Lincoln at West Iredell : NL 24 WI 21 - NL is 8-2 since 2005 over WI!

Lincolnton at Burns: This could be a great game. Idk what Burns has but they are usually tough. Give me burns by 10-14
Bunker Hill vs Maiden: Maiden didnt look all that good vs NL. I think this could be closer then some thing but I see maiden winning here. Give me Maiden 42 BH 21

It was 54-28 with 10 seconds to go in the game what more do ya want against a good 5a team. Lol good triple option teams are hard to stop from scoring especially one with a RB who was avg 205 yards a game before we played.
Did you watch the game? What didn't look good? Genuinely curious...

It was 1 pt game at HALF, NL was up by 1 at the end of the 3Q so this was close until a 27-8 Scoring in the 4Q. I did watch the game a little bit , U control Agee well but he had success on sweeps bc yall didnt tackle well, gave up 1 big play to Agee.
NL only manage 176 total offense but still got 36 pts so thats tell me they had short fields or you turned it on downs or whatever the case maybe. and also I personally believe yall should put this game away early as u missed 2 chances to have a fumble recovery n INT in 1Q
SO this game should of not been close!
Maiden first TD we get a bull crap unsportsmanlike. 15 yards on kick off there is short field on first NL TD I'm pretty sure first fumble went out of bounds. 21-20 at halftime. First off there is a reason high schools run triple option it's a very hard offense for high school kids to defend. Because very few have ability to contain and not play hero ball. 3rd qtr they only score on agee breaking a play. 28 pts. Maiden def started figuring out nl offense. And it snowballed from there. Maiden created turnovers and took advantage of them. It was then 54-28 and 2nd string def gave up TD and 2pt conversion with 10 seconds left in game to make it 54-36. NL is a very good 1-2 team losing to us and Lincolnton which also was close till end of game.

AMD, if you keep on making trouble you might incur A BS penalty yourself, like maybe causing the conference to undergo a name change to something such as “The Swine Valley West.”

North Lincoln is very Jr lead this year. Will lose some Sr linemen but not too much. Next year if not this year should be interesting. Been nice to have Wingate back but he is in a good spot with Maiden. In this conference this year top 4 teams seem to be capable or possibly capable of winning conference crown and beating this team or that on any given friday. North can still win it if they were to win outright and someone they defeat upsets Maiden. Highly doubtful though. I'm leaning toward East Lincoln with Maiden in 2nd with that big Hickory upset. I can see it lol. Packed house im sure on that game if both are still unbeaten conference wise.
Sorry for late late respose. I just know Lincolnton is much better this year and Burns not so much. As far as details, stars to watch or injury report I aint got anything. I guess I shouldn't write Burns off cause Crest is just that good this year and that maybe we shouldnt look at that score ha ha. I'm lightly favoring Lincolnton but Burns has athletes they always do. Burns very capable of winning but it'll be close
Bandys is a problem too. They went toe too toe with Kings Mtn.
i figured them in with the possiblity. They've had some great JV teams and they're all playing good on varsity.

East Burke middle won all but one game last year. Not exactly carrying over to JV just yet but maybe they'll get there. Good QB hurt too. Should be back in action in 2 or 3 weeks
Hickory vs Newton-Conover as well. The new 72 hour rule is the reason.
Knew about it. No good alternative...options are either double header on Friday or Saturday game missing some kids and coaches. Neither team wanted that so it's canceled.
Hickory over Newton but I'm torn I feel like Newton might pull of upset tonight I hope not . But will be closer than hickory people want.
East over bandy's but once again I could see an upset happen in this game. If I was to predict the script bandy's neck to neck or leading until 4th qtr where east pulls it out.
