Bandys vs Maiden (It is kind of wild to think this is not the game of the week in the conference. Sorry @amaidendevil . Big matchup for both teams. May see this matchup in the playoffs too. Can either defense stop the offense, probably not but whoever gets a couple stops should win the game.)

Bunker Hill vs Foard (Someone has to win. Bunker played a good first half vs Newton with a freshman qb...)

East Lincoln vs Hickory (Game of the Week. Huge matchup. Conference Championship on the line. A lot of points have been scored by both teams. Hopefully these teams put on a great show, should be a great atmosphere for regular season football)

Newton Conover at West Iredell (Newton needs to come out better than they did against Bunker. West just had a tough stretch of good teams, can they bounce back...)

North Lincoln (they have a bye and can't lose, I think. Easier teams on the horizon for North)

Lincolnton at Stuart Cramer (Lincolnton is favored but can't have a let down after a huge win this past Friday.)

You have nine conference teams in eight conference games kind of limit your options on non-conference you want to help your RPI going to try to get in historical games but somewhere along the line something gets lost

Lets see, Pick em's this week. Tougher than usual. Some nail biters.

Maiden- They just got it. I wouldn't take Bandys too light but yeah they got it.

Foard-ehhh could come down to the wire. I've lost a few this year but hey, I am a week behind on Pick em's. No catch up out of conference picks come on

East Lincoln- Anyones game and I'm on a limb on this one big time. Game of the week/game of the region/ top 10 game in State. Could come down to a bad call, one mistake, field goal thriller, who knows boys who knows. If WBTV FFN dont do this one that'd be a nasty shame.

Newton- Yet another NASTY down to the wire anyones game pick. Nothing easy bout this week. Newton with slightly better athletes be the only reason I'd take them in this toss up.

LIncolnton- I dont know anything bout Stuart Cramer cept they down in Gastonia and are better than North Gaston, East Gaston, schools like that. I guess. After the Shelby upset this is a no brainer but upsets can happen.


Ya'll notice Saint Stephens kept it THAT close with Freedom this past week??? what in the worlds really going on lol.

North Lincoln with a badly needed bye. Who KNEW it was gonna be THIS bad for NL?? North with a middle of the road JV team last year, Agee returned and can play a nice game in open field, Maiden saw that happpen...but ONE win this year?? Wasn't expecting this bad ya'll im telling ya.
