This new site has just about the most aggravating popups I’ve ever seen. And the largest.
What’s with the popups???

The ones that rise and fall on the screen like waves are infuriating. Click the X, it goes away, then it's back 10 seconds later.
The pop ups slide up from the bottom. Some are massive and some are a bit smaller. They all have to be closed out to properly interest with the board. I am on mobile. Not sure about desktop.

I thought this would be about our baseball team.
I see these threads about once a month. I don't ever remember a time when I got a pop up ad on this site on my desktop, laptop, or mobile. I did get one once after the site change over on my Fire tablet and fixed that in about 1 minute w/ a pop up stopper, its not hard.
Thanks for the idea. They appear to have stopped after I downloaded a free pop-up blocker. It’s funny though, because I never got them on the old SPS site.
I have noticed some popups with audio on my phone lately. I'll click on a thread, then hear audio from an ad, and can't figure how to mute it.
They are on mute by default on my laptop, but not for my samsung phone.
And I don't have a screenshot because they are at the very bottom of my screen, so I can't see it that well and don't want to click on something that's pissing me off.

I run an ad blocker on the site and it doesn't like that either. ON3 window pops up and asks me to sign in again since I am using an ad blocker.
Yeah that just started when they made us log in with emails. I'm telling you nothing will ever top yuku.
Same here. It’s asking me to disable it so I can continue on the site or subscribe to on3 for more in-depth information for like 9.99. Anyone else getting this ?
Yes, I am now. At first it was working but now they ask me to subscribe. I backed out and then entered the site again and I’m not getting it right now.
So far, I have managed to just disable ABP on the main forum front page. It isn't forcing me to disable it on threads yet.
Not a good development. I should get to control what elements of data actually end up on my screen. Advertisers should not be guaranteed my pixels.

I check sixpackspeak and a few other sites daily. I do get ads periodically in the new On3 server, but not on others. It may have to do with what you search/read/purchase for on the platform (mobile/desktop) that you’re on. I don’t use social media and rarely buy anything on my phone. I have never seen the ads nor the ad dimensions a few of you have shared….just an idea.
I just X out and re enter and it doesn't ask for a sign in the second time.
I downloaded an ad blocker that a poster recommended, and had the same problem afterwards as PRCD…changed my password, and all is well (to include no ads!)
2 Adblockers have been working fine. Tonight my Macbook Air started getting them when I go inside a thread. I will capture the next one. I just was so taken aback by seeing one that I didn't even think about making a screen cap.

Rocket Mortgage is the one covering the whole page and playing sounds. Just started getting it today. Tried 3 times to post a screen shot but On3 wouldn't accept it.
