I have no way to really know how good or how bad we will be or any other team will be when these teams are all bringing in 30 plus transfers every season. I do know how bad coaching was last season and if it doesn't improve we are doomed to win two games.

These all look pretty good except I'm at least a 7/borderline 8 in basketball. We will be a higher seed and win at least one game in the NCAAT this year.

Reckon I'm between a 1 and a 2 on the wool meter for football. I'm actually curious to see what, if any, improvement is made and where. So I attribute my "interest" to curiosity. There is no excitement, just curiosity.

I'm trying to convince myself to believe we could win 6 but after the last 2 years it's hard to do. I look at the additions and can envision a scenario where we are much improved. But I'm not a strong believer in players moving up and still being good. Being dominant at UTEP or N Illinois or schools like that and then stepping up against Texas and Georgia is not comparable. I hope I'm excited after the first couple games. I remember buying into all the sunshine pumping about Arnept's first year.

When I reference N Illinois and UTEP or Charleston, I am referring to the transfers we signed from these schools that some folks are excited about. While these guys may have looked really good against the competition they faced last season at their former school, Texas and Georgia will be different.

Everyone is excited about our "highly ranked transfer class." But virtually all of them were 3* players with no other P4 offers. Some will pan out. A lot won't.
