What a disaster of a baseball team program.
I mean we figured out a way to absolutely blow it in the 6th. I'm pretty stunned at what I watched.
I won't give all the blame to Stone, whoever they put in there would found a way to screw it up tonight.

And I paid $900 per seat for just the seat license.....and that was half off for being a previous season ticket holder. Some people paid $1800 per seat. Then we have to buy the season tickets which are now just short of a $1000 per year for a couple seats. This is for a 10 year period. So far, I've only gotten one season that really made me happy......2021. And I hear there's still a waiting list for many folk wanting to buy chairbacks. Hard to believe huh? I will not renew at the end .of this 10 year period. Kind of figure the new 10 year seat licenses will be around $2500-3000 per seat. Too tired of spending this kind of money for these kind of predictable results.
As head coach you absolutely can not show your team or fan base that you’ve given up based on your in-game decisions. If you do, you must be relieved of your duties immediately.
When the coach isn’t confident you can bet the majority of the players will struggle with confidence as well. In addition he has always been very anxious during the game and the players play that way most of the time.
Stone has been a heck of a pitcher for us this year. Just didn't have it tonight, and that's tough. But you simply can't let a reliever who came into the game with a lead give up 6 runs on 6 hits without getting an out. Wouldn't have changed the outcome much, but he should have been pulled 3 batters earlier. So yeah, I don't really blame him.
In all of this total lack of competitiveness ”you and the others like you” are the ones I feel really sorry for. Selmon ought to be fired for failure to produce a product on the field that is worthy of the expense being paid by the fans!
How is it Selmon's fault that a coach who was here well before he arrived & won a natty is sucking now? The baseball boosters are who did this. They didn't want Lemonis fired.
Think long and hard before giving up the tickets, you may never be able to get them again with the waiting list as long as it is.
I gave my 4 chair backs up and while I miss them sometimes I don’t regret reallocating that entertainment expense to other parts of my life
