No one knows what the future holds for this kid, but given where he is right now (can he even legally drink yet?), at the moment, he certainly has the potential to go as far as he wants in the sports world. What an opportunity this is for him!

Fdu was getting made fun of for this earlier in year in low major circles. Now it’s the feel good story.

Apparently, FDU doesn't even have a Pep Band. The one playing for them in the NCAAs was on loan from the U of Dayton. A Pep Band makes a lot of difference in creating a home court advantage, as RU fans know well.

FDU just received more positive publicity at the national level in one weekend than in its entire history. Maybe this moment in the sun will convince the FDU administrators that it is worth beginning to put some money into the kinds of things that help create a collegiate environment at their sporting events.

Reminds me of that story about Pike and the band director getting a band started at Stony Brook.

That was agreat story about the pep band; and yeah the same thing for St. Peter's last year the PR is amazing
Look at 2006 when we had the great run in football I believe the next year applications to Rutgers were up 2006 so don't tell me sports and having good teams is not important for a university!!
