What about Mullen calling out his coaches during interviews post game?

Directly from a high school coach working a MSU football camp this summer. Said he would hate to coach for an *** hole like Dan. Could be a good thing.

But, if you don't think they are worried about getting called out in public, then you are wrong -- they are. And if you think you can limit your hires to people that don't worry about that when it happens, then you won't have many coaches to choose from -- other than those coaches that absolutely don't give a **** about anything -- you know, the ones you can't run off no matter what you do to them. Measure the talent in that group.

Now, like I said, maybe they just have to get the hell over it. Maybe they have to make up their minds not to ever produce a performance that results in being called out in public. But, worried (which I take to mean bothered) by it? You bet their *** they were. To be honest, that might be one reason he did it.

I'm tellin' you from experience - Worthless pieces of **** couldn't give a **** what you say about them. Performers, for some reason (which sort of defies reason) do care.

Damn, that's a pain in the ***, isn't it?

I only send a check, er, uh, when needed. Maybe one day I can send a check each month.

go ahead and admit it. Who gives a flying 17 if it is public. I am sure Mullen told his coaches from the get go that he wasn't going to accept mediocracy. You don't know what in the hell he says behind closed doors. I am sure he chews them a new *******. But who cares? I am ready to win, and I like the fact that he makes it PUBLIC that he isn't going to take any **** from anyone....

edited because I have been drinking and cant seem to type tonight...

We've got Stans out there writing outrageous checks to get recruits on campus, Cohen is off of his meds - raping and mutilating live kittens, and now our football coach is is a complete drunken ******* who, according to my sources, was seen backhanding Torbush the other day just before bending him over and raping him like a prison *****.

17 a winning attitude. Fire 'em all.

So you were either there, or have it on good authority, right?

played for saban... he is a #1 grade A *******.. I would have to assume what he does to the players prolly is done to his assistants as well.. bad performance whether it is from the players or coaches will warrant emabrassment and *** chewings... one thing I am convinced of without a shadow of a doubt, is that playing for him can be pure hell...

but he wins... sometimes it is what the doctor orders..

you want players that want to win more than players that want to be treated well. Now, I'm not saying I necessarily think the coach should just ride their *** into the dirt everyday, but winning comes at a price. I'm sure that Saban knows that, and the players that go play for him know what they are getting into when they sign with Bama. At the same time, they also know what the reward will be if they do what Saban wants.

The players that want a certain amount of playing time and have attitude problems are likely to go somewhere else, or not last very long if they do go to Bama.

Remember Polk II? He pretty much catered to all of our players and was more worried about whether or not they had a "good experience" and was more worried about keeping promises to players regarding playing time even at the detriment of the program.

A good coach will foster competition among the players and drive them to succeed. Despite our record, I'm definately seeing that from Mullen and most of the staff. The part of the staff that's not holding up their end of the bargain is at least being put on notice. We'll see what happens.

Love him or hate him, he won. While he may have choked a few kids, I don't recal him killing anyone.
