I'm 84 and still own and wear jeans. Look great with a sports coat.
Imagine that this guy gets strung out on heroin. He can't afford his habit so he tries to steal from his dealer. The dealer catches him and mangles his fingers so he can never properly play guitar again. The dealer also stabs him in the throat, causing permanent vocal chord damage, so he sounds like a cat in heat when he tries to talk. This poor guy, drugged out and destitute, with only that pink outfit to his name, is now homeless. Years later, drunk and high and still wearing that once pink outfit that is now brownish-gray and riddled with holes, he stumbles by a sleazy club and decides he's going to go in there and relive his glory days. There's barely anyone in the club as he grabs a guitar and tries to play a tune.
@laKavosiey-st lion is in that club, hanging in the corner with a bunch of 18-year-old boys, wowing them with stories about how he wants to take trips and own cars. He hears the guy play, stops his latest story and then yells to the boys, "this guy is awesome! let's mosh!"

Take a couple xanax bars. Then in 30 minutes, we will hit you with a bag of quarters. The next day you'll think you were in a mosh pit, and had a blast.

It's like Scotch. There is an adaptation curve and then you enjoy it. My son is pretty good with the sax and cello. I attended recitals, orchestra, and symphony performances as a good father should. Eventually I really enjoyed the experience. It does require more than monosynaptic thought.
