Urban Meyer(sp)... not that notable, but I still get a kick out of it.

We also made it past the Yuku Wizard.

I loved the whole drama over the fake C34 on the WF board

Someone went through the time and trouble of pretending to be him posting on a Wake Forest board before the bowl game, and then when someone else claimed credit over here, all confusing hell broke loose. My favorite of the past few years.

IT happened, on an April 8, long ago

Destroying work efficency since then.

And altered the paradigm of Bulldog internet board communication, forever.
Engendered the birth of Nafoom, for what that's worth.
And perhaps the birth of C34's career, if that's reality.

Thanks, DS and HD6, and the rest of the Pack.
You made a contribution to countless lives.

That's hokey, I know.

The Courting of Robert Elliott was great fun

I also enjoyed the thread how some people were upset we won a road basketball game at LSU a few years back. Something about this win will hurt us in the long run.

I miss Henry Kissinger posting. He started a thread on "Why we should keep Stans" that paralled the Polk saga. Underappreciated thread that fooled a lot of people and was pure genius.

The entire soap opera that was Renardo Sidney.

The "meet me at the south farm" thread was classic.

In ten years sixpackspeak went from a group of rogue posters on another message board, to the heartbeat of Mississippi State University. We (y'all) got rid of three major athletics coaches, a president of a major American University, and a BCS conference athletic director. All in 10 years.

What I remember about that was this classic bulldog, Dog55, had just written 7 or eight post totaling about ten thousand words about a 40 year history of being a State fan. A lot of the stuff was good, but it was so much that I meant to go back to it, and it was all obliterated by the board scrub. I wonder if Dog55 wrote all that stuff directly on the board and lost it completely in the scrub. I hope not because I know it had to hurt him deeply if he did lose it all. I never saw him on the board again after that. I miss his posts, and I hope he's still around somewhere.

Cdawginhouston's Movie Quote Thread of the Week. Dawgman13 calling LSU to see if Jimbo Fisher was there or in Starkville. I called every director of basketball officiating in the country as "Brian Hadad, SixPackSpeak.com" to get a question answered, everybody was at lunch except for the Big 10 guy, who answered my question and was very courteous, don't remember the question though. All American Dawg and RFAA replying to a thread on Gene's that had the F word in the title, only they left in the replies so the front page had 50 replies with the F word, which in turn had Gene's posters replying to get it deleted but their replies had the F word as well. Jackass Bob, RIP. This post...http://sixpackspeak.yuku.com/topic/1620/LSU-fans-please-forgive-meposted-by-Nuther-T which in my estimation is the greatest post in Six Pack history. Getting an email from Scottish and Newcastle about the logo. Having control of NAFOOM for two weeks after the 2005 Egg Bowl, there is still one poster over there with a 35-14 custom title last I checked. Stacie the Sports Chick. The first Ole Miss poster on the board, RebelDAD, and his beloved Confederate flag that was stolen at a Memphis game. Gnats.

I left out a lot but those were some high points.

Actually, Heydog, RebelDAD loved to spoof the oldtime Rebels and their mentality. He was a great Bulldog and a world class story-teller. A great man. RIP Mike.

I am pretty sure he was also Jackass Bob. Yes, he is missed.
