We return nearly every starter and every back-up on both sides of the ball to a team that won 7 games, and was 10 points away from beating 3 more teams that finished in the top 25. Unfortunately our lack of depth got to us late in those games, and while we're still not too terribly deep, we should be deeper than we were last year. Add the recruiting class excitement, and voila, excited fanbase.
Unfortunately it's a rough schedule. Both Ole Miss and MSU could field much better teams and end up with equal or worse records than last year. Such is life in the SECW. If we can stay healthy, I can see Ole Miss getting to 8 with a shot at 9 in the postseason, though.
