Not with that D you wouldn't. I think there's some misconception about Blacksburg that because they have the O they don't have the D and that's untrue.

I think that your mis informed! GW defense is at 100% so if that's all you have to go by then tell me. Just because your team lost to them don't think it would be the same result if they played a healthy GW team

IDK, DSH. Bburgs O pretty darn good to be missing at least 2 key starters we'll get back before playoffs. You may be right if it came down to a power running game, but is that what GW really does on O?
Just a lil friendly smack talk. I think if we had to rank the offenses in Region D then GW and Blacksburg would be 1 & 2 and you could put either or in those slots. If we’re looking at Individuals
QB- Poole vs Johnson.. Poole gets it.
RB- Cole vs Graves.. Cole gets it
WR.. Terry/Wise vs Watlington/Harris.. Pretty darn close but I’ll give it to Blacksburg guys
O-Line.. I’ll take GW’s.

This is not a matchup that would be even remotely a close game, but Class 4, Region A presently sits with Lafayette as the first seed and Jamestown as the 8th seed. For those of you that don't know, both are James City County Schools, and both share the same home field, Wanner Stadium. And to say they are "best buds" is pretty far from accurate. I don't think for a minute that either crowd would cross the line of unruliness, but they also won't be politely clapping for the other's team.

There's nothing to that, though. Salem's only played the same team twice maybe 4-6 times and they've either won both or lost both save one year iirc. It mainly was against Pulaski with added times against Byrd and Northside (this was the loss/win from 2000). Doubt the outcome of the game would change against Blacksburg or Dinwiddie for that matter.

They lost to Lord Botetourt in the 2000 regular season also (only loss to LB) and beat them in the playoffs as well.
