I know it will get this locked...and possibly by me but gotta say it

I hope Joe Sixpack Citizen of the US shoots him with his legally obtained hand gun as he tries to crawl into the house. I'd rather him get shot in the legs a few times, not die, and the doctors "elect" to do double amputations even if it isn't medically necessary. Would be fitting to have someone protect themselves AND this guy lose his legs.

I hope he gets captured alive. Then thrown into a small prison cell. Then tortured for the next 60 years of his life. Every 17ing day. And that it's shown via live web feed so people know exactly the punishment involved with doing something as heinous as this.

Anyone notice the Military Police on the streets helping? Guess they can now in accordance with the NDAA. They can arrest and detain citizens.

Let's up the ante. Someone with his legally obtained assault rifle pumps half a clip in this loser right before he detonates a bomb strapped to himself killing/injurign more people.

You better believe it buddy. They have been having military drills for sometime patrolling cities etc. Why...do your own guessing.

Heck they are in the streets of Boston helping with this. I just saw MP's with ballistic vests on.

There are pictures of them looking at peoples ID's at the marathon.

wonder if they support gun control there....
Doesn't matter. I reckon there are more guns legally owned in Boston than any other large city in the US. Those people are nuts. Yet another reason not to dick around with Boston.

Well, if you read this from Wikipedia (and this article seems to be valid, and quotes portions of the laws), it seems that NDAA 2012 severely limits the power of the President to use the military. It seems to be more restrictive than what we had for the previous four or five years. In this case, since there was no perceived threat before the actual bombing, use of them to check IDs at the Marathon was illegal. After the bombing, it may be at least closer to legal.

I'm not sure I agree with any use of the armed forces within the US since we have pretty capable law enforcement agencies, and they are apparently willing to help each other out (look at all the different federal and Mass. police that are working the current crisis).

I can tell you unequivocally that the majority of people in Boston would support

gun control legislation. It's one of the more liberal cities in the U.S., probably only second to San Francisco. Now, with these events some people may start thinking otherwise and you are right, I bet they wished they had a gun now.

Based on my travels there, many are truly nuts especially when you get them in the driver's seat of a vehicle. I have found the vast majority of them to be very friendly though on my many trips there. I have a friend who I met through work that lives in the southern 'burbs and he has an arsenal. Can't speak for the rest of the residents ... this guy is a bit atypical of the stereotypical Bostonian.

Depends on what you mean by "gun control laws"

Heck, I support some gun legislation, such as extensive background checks. I don't see anything but good there. I don't want some psycho, or some felon, being able to legally buy a gun of any type. I know they can get them on the black market, but at least checks make it more difficult. But I also don't have a problem with the vast majority of US citizens being able to purchase guns, assuming they pass the checks. I don't really understand why someone would want an AK-47 with a 30 clip magazine, but at the moment it's legal and I see no reason to change things.

And the Marathon bombing had nothing to do with guns until the guy shot the cop last night. I suppose one could ask why would a person here on an extended green card is allowed to own a gun legally ...perhaps he didn't. Maybe he got it on the black market.

I know he didn't go to Wal Mart and buy the grenades they were throwing out of the car last night.

Good god! If that's real, the guy sure caught a load. I'd heard he was wearing an IED vest ... maybe it got exploded by all the bullets hitting him. Or one of the grenades he had. I have a feeling the the cops didn't even try to capture him since he was a cop killer. And the number of shots on the video they showed sorta verifies that.

I didn't see the video you speak of....do you have a link?

The slice would be opened by a crank to repair his heart and the little white pinns are used to release pressure from a collapsed lung.
