Have to believe this will hurt Pitino's marketability as a sports announcer/commentator after this train wreck. Will be interesting to see how the settlement on his contract works out.

The major UL donors/sponsors have to be livid and embarrassed having their names associated with this crap.

Mike & Mike just drove a stake through the undead one's heart. Pitino cannot survive this. They just said it was impossible for him to survive this in light of his own personal conduct in 2009.

Question for us is, does this warrant removing Pitino's name from our rafters? Thoughts.

No. We were the shining light in his career. He will always be remembered for greatness here. Let it stay so Louisville can be reminded of what his best moments were.

Now we know why players were given multiple chances at UofL before finally being kicked off the team...

Hello Chane and Chris...

Jurich and Pitino knew that any of these players could take them down at any time with the knowledge that they had about strippers and hookers.

It's a tough deal when you let your players have that kind of power over you.

Please. Just make it disappear. No comment is necessary. The press will seek one, but just ignore it.

Seriously, folks, IIRC UK took down Sean Woods at one point because he hadn't earned his degree, but Pitino's stays up there?

Greenie said Pitino cannot possibly survive this. Said there is no way.

Greenie is a complete fool who doesn't know his *** from his nose half the time, unless they are talking about the NFL or some social issue that ESPN is backing. I hope he's right here, but he's the best example of douche bag on that network.

And he talks like he has a beak.

Having said that, I hope he's on the money.

They're gonna try to flip McGee to get him to admit where that cash came from. Not sure what they will have to leverage him with, though.

My favorite UL comment so far...

"So Andre did wire her money. Andre himself had a debt. This doesn't prove that it was for the team. I think Andre himself was using the goods and services. Her money man left town and she got ticked off."

People saying Pitino is done have not lived in Louisville. Every local media outlet here is covering for him. He will clean it up and take the part of the savior. Just the way it works here.

Real justice should be that Jurich and Pitino leave in disgrace. They were and are in charge. But that is a fairy tale. However, the program is going to get something bad.
The NCAA may make it impossible for Pitino to stay.

We are sick of UL and their compensated 'journalist' shills like Pat Forde running rough-shot over the NCAA.

If they don't get major sanctions on this one, something is seriously wrong with this country, and I doubt they will unless we NCAA fans demand it. You know Rick is going to have his shills doing damage control, lobbying and FUD to try and spin this thing their way.

So let's make sure our voices are heard. That program is an embarrassment to us all, and it's about time Pitino steps down.

Explosive new report from Goodman of CBS: 5 (five) ex U of L recruits admit they attended "stripper" parties. He was on Mike and Mike this morning for 30 minutes with details. Hard to see UofL getting off without Major penalties . Several commentators on the show stated that Pitino could not survive .

Sounds like Katina's lawyer is taking the stance that Andre McGee was the real pimp, since he was the one organizing and orchestrating the parties.

That line of thought can't be helpful to UL.

Seems she is taking the stance that all she did was supply dancers - Andre was the mastermind.

Maybe just lawyer talk, but it might be enough to make McGee give up the money man. This could get dangerous.

Bilas is on SC talking about it...

Folks this train has left the station and is full steam ahead...I don't think it's going to stop at some strippers and a rogue graduate assistant...

I could be totally wrong, but i smell a Nevin Shapiro type...someone had to bank roll all this...and I doubt it was the only thing he was bank rolling...and there is no way higher ups on the staff and in the administration didn't here whispers about this...

On another note...ESPN and the national media are going to run with this hard...will be interesting to see if the UNC mess fades...

The NCAA may make it impossible for Pitino to stay.

That is possible, but remember, this is the NCAA we are talking about. And, IMO, that is the only way he is gone. Ramsey and Jurich will back him. They already are.

But if they keep Jurich after this as well, then that is all anyone needs to know about them if they did not know before.

But since this is a national story that is hitting homes....

While you have a point, this is on a national level of embarrassment. People also have to remember, this likely won't be Jurich's or even Ramsey's decision for Pitino to stay at UL. This will be likely up to the Board of Regents at UL. If they decide this is embarrassing enough they may clean house from top to bottom.

Anybody think, that after today, McGee will still be claimed? Is he still a Cardinal forever? Or do they disown him from this mess?!?!? Hahaha!! [roll]

This is between Andre and Powell. This has nothing to do with UofL. So what if Andre did wire her money? Andre owed her money. Him wiring her money doesn't prove that it was used to buy dances or sex for the team. Andre obviously was using the services of Powell. Andre left Louisville so her gravy train was done. Sounds like she got mad and here we are. To this point all I see is problem between Powell and Andre.

Bilas believes Pitino was kept in the dark.

He's essentially making excuses for Pitino.

From his perspective, sounds like this is going to be a Louisville or RP decision, not an NCAA decision.

I've never personally seen a university allow such things. This is unbelievable. I mean, just saying " and PETRINO used to coach there." Would be bad enough. Let alone, hell, they hire him BACK after he's blackballed. It's just unreal. I don't think I've ever seen an athletic department more incapable in my life. Is Jurich serious. He does know this is collegiate athletics not a major league franchise right? The guy needs to leave college all together he is really bad for the young adults.

Figures. The talking heads on ESPN hate any form of authority or oversight. I honesty believe sometimes ESPN favors anarchy in the NFL. I'm not suprised he's backing Pitino.

Opps, T-Elvis paid $500 to Katrina Powell for sex according to her ESPN interview. She was a mid-30's hoe and he was a 20 something year old millionaire. No wonder he doesn't want to own that. If Lamar Odom has to pay for sex, its not a stretch to believe that so does the Cardinal wordsmith.
